Chapter 13

-Cassandra pov-
Last night was supposed to be a wonderful date. I knew that I was also going to ruin it somehow. I just didn't expect to be in the hospital too. Stupid allergies!

I knew something was wrong on the first fucking bite. But noooooo! I had to keep going! I could've died if I finished it all!

I sigh and look to my right. I smile when I see Shelby in the chair. I hear movement to my left and turn slowly. When I do I'm met with a swirling set of eyes.

I just lay there mesmerized by them. I could do this for the rest of my life! These eyes hold so much love and innocence. I want to protect with it with all I have.

"She's found the Emma curse" I get turned toward Shelby "Never stare into her eyes for too long"

"One moment you'll be on the couch" I look at Maribel who shakes her head with a smile "The next you'll be in the kitchen giving her ice cream she doesn't need"

Everyone laughs but the one I look at next. It's the one that I needed to impress. Laughing starts to change into humming. I turn confused and see all of the others smiling.

"I get it" Judy looks at me with a small smile "Last night was fun I have to admit...you fit in very well"

"If I may suggest something?" Judy nods "Since Judy and Shelby seems to have started this...what if Judy and Shelby are married and it goes in order by that? I mean from history that's usually how the couple bond goes"

"That sounds like a good idea actually" Madison smiles "What do you all say?"

"I think that plan is wonderful" Shelby smiles "We'd need to change a few plans around though"

"We got some time" Judy stands up and walks over to me. I smile as she grabs my hand "We got someone new with us"

I smile and squeeze her hand. This may be the start to something amazing. At least I hope it is in the long run. I really wanna be apart of this wonderful relationship.

I just hope I can form a bond with the kids too. I really don't want them to hate me.

-Time skip-Mary pov-
We haven't given the kids any candy this time. They have just been awfully silent. I don't understand what is going on. I have gone through out the house with Janine multiple times.

We go and they laugh but don't show. It's like being hunted by Ewoks! It's disturbing! I've actually never been this scared in my life!

We do hear a splash and groan. We walk outside and see the girls with floaters on. Janine starts to walk toward them but I shake my head. When she gives me a confused look I point.

Sugar, Sam, and Pamela are watching over them like hawks. Janine smiles and we head back inside. Janine starts working on food while I get out the dish ware. After a while the girls all come in and to the table.

"Have a fun time?" Sugar, Sam, and Pamela share a scared expression "Next time ask us ok?..but good work on watching them"

They smile and we all sit at the table for a snack. After that's done we get the girls up for baths. We change them and feed them before putting them down for naps. I smile as I turn the rooms light off.

I walk to the living room and sigh. Of course there's still one up. Sugar feeds Beth while the other watch television. They look like a little family. I feel a arm slowly go around my shoulders.

"How did we get so lucky with these grandkids?" I shrug and lay my head on Janines shoulder "I love you"

"I love you" I give her a quick kiss "Why don't we go get our swim on now?"

She smiles and runs away like a kid. I chuckle and follow after her. Who's says we can't be young at heart?

-Shelby pov-
We are leaving the hospital now to take showers and change. It took Cassandra almost calling doctors to get us out. She really wants us to take care of ourselves too. I'm not saying that's a bad thing though.

We all just wanted to stay there with her. We stop past a drive-thru and get some food on the way. It's a quiet ride home weirdly. I think we are all trying to make small plan adjustments.

We now have Plan A including Cassandra. We also have a plan B without her. We just need to cover all of our bases. With our history...well you never know what could happen.

We always are in this roller coaster that goes up and down. We never just get a constant high. But that's also what makes life fun sometimes. The unexpected makes it worth living sometimes.

It makes you wanna know what gonna come next. Makes you wanna see it! Makes you wanna be try to be apart of something big! For you to try and see the bigger picture.

We finally get home and get out of the car. My fiancés go to start the bath while I stop. I see the moms enjoying life outside and laughing. Inside is Sam, Pamela, and Sugar with a sleeping Beth.

They will all be good parents in the future. I just hope ever raised them up well. I hope we've been able to raise them all up well. Won't know sadly till they are out of the house.

"Shelby!" I jump and turn toward Emma "You coming?"

"Yeah" I walk toward her with a smile "Was just thinking about a few things"

Just thinking about how blessed we've been.
