Chapter 4: ARC 1 - The Lost Princess

Faerin Amoria, a princess of the East and another survivor from the Tower of Magic. That is the name of the original body that Umi possessed right now.

According to the goddess, Umi can skip the "Where am I" or "Who am I" moments and can act freely if there was no one around because the goddess will be the one to fill that part. Even the simplest dialogues can be edited later on to fit the story better.

What Effie was after is the whole picture. What will be the whole effect of the story if there was a high school girl transmigrated into one of her discarded novels, giving her an idea and to inspire her to write about this new story based on the actions of Umi.

If the goddess did not find it interesting enough, or in other words, if Umi can't fulfill her missions successfully, Umi can only work harder in the next world. After all, she was not truthfully expecting Umi to be successful at the first shot. She reassured the girl countless times to take this first world more like a tutorial, like a glimpse of what to anticipate in the next worlds.

Lessons can be learned from mistakes.

Umi finally got up and only started to notice that her eye level has lowered than usual. She then inspected her body, only to find out that she was covered in bruises, injuries, and dried blood everywhere. She hadn't noticed these wounds before because her sense of pain was numbed!

Umi then only realized just now that she has transmigrated when Fae was only ten years old and has just escaped from the Tower of Magic!

What a way to start the story!

Then does this mean... she will live another ten horrible years as a beggar on the streets from now on?

Well, she knew the future, so might as well take that information as an advantage.

Yes, this is what it means to be transmigrated!

She was only a normal human before this whole endeavor, she has lived her past life comfortably with a thriving career, so there's no way she will live as a beggar!

Modern Fae is a genius high school student, right? Well, Umi can show them the prowess of a genius then!

Mochi immediately noticed how Umi's eyes lit up in fiery determination, then almost in an instant, his anticipation for the future rose. This was not an easy job, she has to persist and endure, face hard times, overcome obstacles, and strengthen herself. To fulfill her missions and create a successful story for the goddess, she can do whatever she wants as long as she does what must be done.

Umi then recalled Newton's First Law of Motion, a well known scientific law in her past world. Newton's first law states that, if a body is at rest, it will remain at rest unless it is acted upon by a net external force.

The original storyline will keep itself running unless there's someone who changes it. Umi is that external force. Even one character changes, however minor she was as a character in that story, then there will be changes in the story that is bound to happen.

Umi's eyes ignited like a lone candle flickering in the middle of the night as she thought of her missions.

Umi also knew that the student Fae has an indifferent personality as a lone genius. Student Fae did not receive any of the Princess Fae's will. Although she thought it was weird that she was transmigrated into a character with the same name, she will quickly adapt and show her genius side to survive in this foreign world.

This current Fae is no longer the timid princess but is now the genius student. No one knows of this body's whereabouts as of now. Her family is thought to be dead as of now and naturally, the people will also think of her to be dead after hearing the news of the massacre. So, the personality change is only natural, since the genius Fae will be taking over now.
