"Really?" she asked getting up and sitting closer.
"Yeah. For a while now" I chuckled as did she.
"Nate I like you too" she said I smiled as she continued to talk.
Here comes the "but"
"Its just all this stuff with Sam. You guys were friends way before me. I don't wanna come between you and him. I can see your friendship getting pretty fucked up" she chuckled at the end.
"I'm just a girl. Don't stress over me. I still want you guys to be close" she said giving me a hug.
This is again all bitter sweet, I'm glad she cares about my friendship with Sam but right now all I want is her.
