I smiled at her as she chuckled going to sit down.
"Hes gonna be back ya know?" she sighed.
"Yeah I know"
I don't know what were are or what we're going to be.
I wanna be with her but the fear of rejection keeps me away.
" So this...this is a one time thing right?" I asked.
She looked up and opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out.
Her vibrant and joyous look vanished and she looked almost sad.
"Oh..no its ok. Sorry for getting you into this again" she said and added a smile and a laugh to convince me.
"Well I gotta go" she hurried, gathering her things and rushed outside.
"Wait no" I said trying to go and get her but she had hopped on the bus nearby.
I sighed realizing I probably hurt her feelings or made her feel bad.
I always mess up.
