*guess who's back*

I sat around my house, waiting on Sammy. I plan on telling him the truth tonight.

Sneaking around with Michelle is something I don't wanna do, I wanna show my affection for her when and wherever I want to.

I don't know how I'm gonna break it to him, but I'm doing it.

"Yo man" I chuckled as Sammy stood at my door, leaning back with his arms out for a bro hug with a smirk on his face.

"Hey nate" he laughed after the brief hug going to the kitchen. Typical.

"So what did you wanna talk about?" he laughed cracking a soda can open.

I breathed in preparing myself for what was to come after I say this.

"So me and michelle have -

"Oh before you speak guess what? I gave up drinking and all that shit for Michelle. I'm really trying to fix the relationship, I've been a ass" he laughed drinking the soda.

"So what was it you had to say?" he asked.

Shit. Um, what the hell.

"That me and Michelle have a, um a- surprise! We have a surprise for you" I said as a bead of sweat slid down my neck.

Fuck. I couldn't do it, he seems so happy.

So basically now Sammy is waiting for a surprise from me and Michelle now. Great I'm in more shit.

"Hey" Michelle smiled as she gave me a hug and attempted to kiss me but I moved out the way.

"What's wrong?" she asked setting her stuff by the door.

"We can't keep doing this. Sam came over and I tried to tell him but he seems so giddy about this shit. He's really trying for you, and I'm in the way " I said getting mad sitting on the couch.

"Nate, we can try to -

"No!" I yelled over her.

"This is the stuff I'm talkin about! I can't keep waiting chelle. I've waited for you long enough, I can't afford to wait any longer with you" and for the first time, she was speechless.

Nothing to say.  There was a silence a long silence, mostly filled with short sharp breaths, or sighs.

"We need to stop doing this" I said slightly over a whisper.

"I guess there's another time for us,because right now isn't it babe" I said getting up to hug her.

"I'll try Nate" she said walking away from the hug.

"I'll try" she said leaving my house.
