I stepped out the both listening to G sing the chorus, then Johnson jumping in for his verse. Its all pretty dope.
This is the only thing I can do to clear my mind.
"That's a wrap!" Gilinsky cheered as he stepped out.
"That's gonna be dope, when does it drop?" I asked sitting on the couch we had in there.
"In a few weeks" Johnson chuckled as a few seconds of silence sneaked up.
"What's with you and Michelle?" Gilinsky said as Johnson nodded.
Oh shit.
"Nothing?" I said trying to sound convincing but it came out like a question.
"C'mon Nate we know you. Just tell us bro" Gilinsky said as I sighed.
"You guys hooked up or something?" Johnson added as I opened my mouth to speak.
"Its complicated" I said trying to avoid the situation.
"Sooner or later you have to tell him bro" Johnson said looking straight through my lies.
"It doesn't even matter. We're finished" I said getting up and walking towards the door.
"Don't get all pissy about it" he finished
As I sighed and walked out.
I sat in my car and put my ear phones blasting Wiz Khalifa in my ears.
*Aye come over man I got a surprise*
I sucked ony teeth making a noise indicating my irritation once I seen the text was from Sam.
*Alright man* I sent back any way, making a u- turn to his house.
"What up man" Sam chuckled as he let me in his house.
I nodded in response not really in the mood to talk.
"Well I have someone who wants to see you. I know you guys had your differences and a little problem with me but she's here" he smiled.
For a second my heart warmed thinking, 'Michelle really told him about us'.
I smiled hard enough for my dimpled to show, as she stepped from behind Sam.
My smile died, my words would serve no purpose if I spoke. I couldn't say much, the only thing I got out was,
"Natalie?"
