My mind was everywhere it could possibly be and for some reason no matter how hard I tired I could just not get my sleep back, yet my head was pounding from lack of sleep. It was still five o clock; I feel like it has been five o clock for a long time

I let out a loud sign and shrugged off my clothes as I turned the tap on and adjusted the temperature. The amount of excitement for this wedding was almost surreal, I mean my best friend and my brother are getting married who on earth would ever see that coming? Okay maybe plenty but to be honest she was the schools queen, and he was the schools well known bad boy. Now mark is not my biological brother, but we been through some shit together and I really hold him of high regard, therefore my brother. Once I was done in the shower, I wore my grey sweatpants along with my marron tank top and shoved all my hair in the bun since I would return home again and get ready properly.

The moment I reached the café I flipped the sign to a we are open since the chairs were on top of the table, I began placing them on the floor while Madison, Adeline and chef arrived which enabled me to be barking orders since I would not be here for the rest of the day. I gave Adeline the job of locking up as she is the responsible one. Once that was done, they got to their jobs and I began doing the final additions to the cake.

"Looking good Freya" the chef said in approval to the cakes decorations.

"Thank you" I replied with pride since I honestly put my everything into this cake. I grabbed a couple of boxes and signalled Madison to help since they were a few customers today. Once all the pastry and desserts were inside the van I place the cake in with such caution you would honestly think I was paranoid. I literally took every single step with such precision.

I signalled the driver to go with Avery who basically handles everything when I am not around, since she is a damn good manager.

I really was cutting it close to time since I only had three hours to get ready. Look three hours is very little time to get ready since I washed my hair in the morning. The minute I barged into my apartment I grabbed my hair straightener and ran it through my hair until it was almost straight and began curling the tips once that was done, I grabbed it and put it the bun as I put on my a pale pink dress that had a full skirt that stopped just above my knee and it had a cute thin strap, I added a sliver chain which had a small sliver heart pendent and for my final touches I added my black high heels. I let my hair down and pinned the right side up and added a few more curls to it since the bun got rid of a few. Once all that jazz was over, I applied some light foundation and added pink eyeshadow and a brownish coloured lip gloss. I grabbed my handbag and locked the door which made me go back a hundred times to make sure it was locked. Shit!! Oh my god!

Shitttt!

I forgot the most important thing... I forgot to get a gift how could I???. I took a quick glanced at the time and saw I still have half an hour left. So, I quickly stopped by the gift shop and scrolled through the isles not having a clue what on earth to buy. There was absolutely nothing they both like. Time was slipping through my hand and since I am the bridesmaid, I got to be there early, but I can't go there with no gift . oh my god how could I slip this up so badly. Just as I was about to give up, I saw a copy of pride of prejudice. They both absolutely love this novel the funny part is that they love story began when they were borrowing my copy. I guess its time I get them they own, the moment I got hold of it and began to turn towards the cashier I felt a force prohibiting that movement
