"Shouldn't we go help them?" I asked. She scrunched up her face "I don't think you are in a good health condition to do that"

I waved her off then hopped off the table and opened the door. It was a mess. The air reeked of smoke and the sky was painted with blood. I walked further outside and looked towards my left and right, but the street was completely deserted. So, I turned my head to Lydia's direction and asked, "Where is everybody?"

She had given me a cute pouting face and pointed upwards, my eyes followed her index finger and immediately widen at the sight before me... well above me. There was a war zone happening on top of other people's roofs. I could see Peter doing a flying Kungfu kick, Scot was at the corner fighting off people and stiles was.... I didn't know what stiles was doing so I walked forward with a scrunched face to reach the conclusion that he was running either to, or from something. But wait wherever he was running he was dropping something, and it wasn't at random spots he was strategically dropping it at specific spots.

At this point I didn't even want to understand what was happening.

"Let me go give them a hand. Stay here" I just nodded my head as she dashed up the stairs to them. I went inside and decided to look around, that's when I came across a vending machine. The sight suddenly made me super hungry, so I pulled out a few coins and grabbed a packet of snappers, with a mouthful of BBQ flavoured crisps I had returned to my previous spot and sat on the doorstep as I watched them fight. Lydia so knows how to fight; I love her superpowers she seemed like the strongest out of them. She was blasting off those hideous creatures with a flick of her fingers. I continued to devour my salty snack as I am watched the chaos unfold before me, I can't even help them, the log on the side of the road has a high chance of killing me imagine if I went into that chaos. Midway of putting a chip in my mouth, a creature fell just a few steps ahead of me. If I took two steps forward, I would be on the creature's body, that's how close it was to me. The following fall was Derek, but the only difference was that he landed articulately. He tilted his head to the side in amused by the sight of me, he walked towards me and ate the chip that I was about to put into my mouth and gave me a wink.

"You are feeling good?" he asked to which I nodded my head. "You trust me ?" he stretched out a hand.

"Yes, I am fine and nope I don't trust you" I said with a popping P, he let out a straight smile "At least I now know that you are actually you"

I placed my hand in his and said "You expect me to trust you when you're eating choices are healthy"

"Yes!!" he playfully yelled to which I laughed. He bent down and gestured me to get on his back to which I did dubiously, he just started climbing on the walls and took me in the middle of the war zone. In that moment I entered with Derek all of these creatures looked at me as if I were fresh meat. I hid behind Derek as I clenched his arm. He slid my hand off his hand. Before he could leave, he whispered, "Just trust me" He disappeared into the war zone. Completely blurred from my vision, is he leaving me alone to defend myself?

Lydia and stiles ran towards me, she grabbed my hand to stop me from following him while she created some bubble around us as all these creatures surrounded us. There were millions pooling in the minute I entered, I noticed all of their eyes were glued onto me as if I were a precious source of life to them and some were on stiles. The following three seconds after was absolute chaos there were several bombs going off one after the other destroying every one of those creatures. The blood never entered into the circle that Lydia had going on. They even tried to enter despite their lives being in danger their eyes had just remained filled with the thirst for blood. Lydia's barrier was practically unbreakable. She was literally using her powers to protect us but what about the others. My eyes searched for Derek as the bombs continued to detonate. I hope his safe. If he died I don't what I would do, I just couldn't live my life without him I would have rather die. Just the thought of him dying drew the air straight from my lungs, it felt like someone with really long and sharp nails was clenching onto my heart, that sent a pang through my entire body.

After what felt like a really long time the explosions stopped going off and we were surrounded by millions of those creatures' carcasses. When all the smoke settled just enough for me to see. I noticed that charming smile from a distance. I didn't know why but my eyes were swelled with tears, but it was such a relief to see that he was okay and alive. I ran towards him as I wiped the tears off my face with the back of my hand and jumped to hug him while I wrapped my legs around his waist. He stumbled a bit from the impact I caused but returned the affection by snaking his arms around me.

"Sssh" he said in an attempt to soothe my uncontrollable sniffles "I am sorry" he stroked my head while he rubbed circles on my back. I don't even know why he is apologised when he did nothing wrong, but it felt good to hear it.

"I thought..." I hiccupped "something happened to you..."

"I am fine...sssh... Everything is good"
