Chapter 19

"Re, my gosh you have great timing" I said as I exhaled a breath, I didn't know I was holding in.

"What happened?"

"My story is longer lets start with yours first. How is your honeymoon?" I asked all jumpy and wiggled my eyebrows as if she was standing in front of me. I could sense her blushing even though we were miles apart, so I encouraged her by saying "Come on, don't be shy"

"Not going to lie... I only had time to call you know because there was no break"

"Omg!!!" I squealed as I did multiple jumps in one spot. I could not stop myself before as the words flew out my mouth "I am going to be an aunt soon."

"Freya! he is so freaken good in bed-"

"Re'al please this is my brother don't go into details it's going to gross me out" I said honestly with a straight face as I held up my hand in a stop sign as if she was in front of me.

"Anyway, what did you want to say" she asked curiously.

"I reconciled with D-" I could hear a faint ringing sound in the background.

"Shit! I am so sorry Freya I got to go there is a fire alarm" she rushed as she spoke.

"Okay bye" I could not help as a dull mood settled in as I hung up. Stupid fire alarm I didn't even get to tell her. I hope they are all okay though.

Just then Derek popped his head through the door spiking my excitement as radiant smile drew across my face "You wanna watch a movie?"

"Do I get to pick?" he nodded in response making me jump back in the blanket.

He got inside the blanket with me and slithered his arm across my waist and then dragged me so close to him that I ended up with me using him as my pillow while his hand just laid on my waist. I was dropping every single guard that I had on and it was kind of frighting because I knew for a fact that if he leaves me again, I don't think I would contain the courage to live a life I once did. I will definitely turn into a living corpse but the thought of sharing couple moments like these was everything I needed to live the rest of my life.

"Let's binge watch Descendants of the sun"

"As long as I am in bed with you the whole day nothing else matters."

It was now eight pm as we were only on the tenth episode when Derek whined "I can't believe you are drooling over some song guy. I have more muscles than him" he emphasized his point by flexing the muscles on his arms.

"But you don't have his face" I said dreamily as I ushered Derek to collect the pizza.

"Put it on pause" I definitely got him hooked on Kdrama and I hope he know that if Song Joon Ki asks me to marry him than that's it I am gone and never coming back, Song Joon Ki's aura and everything about him is just so freaken hot that it makes me feel like swearing so badly. They share the best chemistry offscreen and on screen. They even got married for three years and broke up.

"Hey Bugs, how come I didn't see your mum and dad at the wedding" Derek asked casually as he walked into the room with the pizza in his hand.

"My mom committed suicide couple days after my prom night" I said blankly as I looked into the television screen and I could feel how much he regretted his decision about asking me, but I continued to speak "As far as my dad is concerned, I prefer we act like he doesn't exist"

I dropped the dull mood and pushed all the sombre thoughts to the other side of my brain and pulled a happy face as I grabbed a slice of pizza "Why are you calling me bugs does it look like I have bugs on me"

"I tell you now if you say I am hotter than that song guy" I scrunched my face up and tossed an invisible fly to the corner and said "Forget it I can live with the curiosity"
