Nia sat in the waiting room, knee bopping up and down as she had been nervous for this appointment all day. What was even more frustrating was she wasn't even able to be seen by her OB GYN until after the holiday season. Between the holidays and Nia's work schedule, it had been annoying in general trying to get an appointment.

Her phone rang and she sighed in relief when she realized it was Georgeta.

G- Morning! How's it going?

N- Not bad, just nervous...I'm waiting to be seen now.

G- Don't be nervous hun, just know that whatever happens I support you❤️

While she had been waiting to be called to the back, she was also in the middle of going back and forth with Lauryn over text.

N- Nia

L- Just stay calm Nia, I'm sure everything will be okay.

N- I'm trying my best not to freak tf out...it's harder than it looks.

L- I'm sure you just got a fluke test or something...but until you know for sure, try not to stress yourself out over it.

N- Thanks Laur...I'm honestly more afraid of telling Sebastian than the idea of actually being pregnant.

L- You STILL haven't told him? Why??

N- I don't know Laur...he's just different, I guess I'm afraid of losing him again.

L- Listen Nia, if he's a real man, he will stay. I don't think he's going to go anywhere...

N-How can you be so sure?"

"Nia!?" Nia's head immediately popped up at hearing her name being called by the nurse. She sighed and threw her phone in her purse before heading back.

"Okay Nia, I'm going to take you right back to the examination room and then Doctor Cohen will be with you shortly." Says the nurse as she opens the door and shows Nia to the exam room.

"Thank you so much." Nia says.

"You're welcome, the Doctor will be in shortly." She says before closing the door. Nia sighed and heard the phone buzz and saw that Lauryn had replied to her previous message.

There was a small knock on the door causing Nia to look up, and seconds later Nia's Gynecologist entered the room.

"Nia! How are you?" Doctor Cohen asks politely shaking her hand.

"Not bad, just nervous." Nia replies.

"It's okay to be nervous, I assure you no matter what the outcome will be everything is going to be okay Nia." The Woman says smiling over at Nia.
