Thanksgiving

"Man I hate shopping on the day of Thanksgiving." Sebastian says as him and Nia stood waiting in the self checkout lane. The two of them were going to Lauryn's house to Celebrate Thanksgiving but leave it to Nia to volunteer to bring meatballs.

"Oh stop it, you hate shopping with ME not Thanksgiving shopping." Nia argues.

"That is not completely true..." he says.

"Okay, then tell me what is completely true." Nia says with a grin.

"Okay, I do hate shopping in general...but you make shopping more bearable if that makes sense." Sebastian explains.

"Okay, fair enough." Nia says smiling. "I appreciate you coming with me, shopping isn't something I like doing alone."

"Which is why I do all my grocery shopping online!" He says making you narrow your eyes at him.

"See look! We're already next in line crybaby." Nia says pushing the cart forward so the two of them could start ringing up their items. Literally 10 minutes later the two of them were already out of the store and headed to the car.

"Looks like you're walking really good. I guess your PT has been paying off." Sebastian says.

"Thanks. It still kind of hurts to walk without the crutches but my therapist said if I go back to the crutch, I could regress." Nia explains. "A lot of the pain has to do with the way that bone is trying to reconnect."

"Ahh I got you. Well you need to get in the car so you're not over exerting yourself babe." Sebastian says already opening the trunk.

"But babe I-"

"What did I say?" Sebastian says trying to be fake stern.

"Fine." Nia says as she gets in the passenger seat before crossing her arms over her chest like a toddler.

"Aww it's okay baby Nia, I'll be right there."

"Shut up." Nia says lightly chuckling. After about five minutes of Sebastian loading up the groceries into the car, Nia finally had company.

"Thank you for shopping with me, it's much appreciated." Nia says kissing Sebastian's cheek.

"You didn't really give me a choice..."

"Shut up, you love me." Nia says kissing Seb some more.

"I see you're bringing the beard action back. The stubble is doing it for me..."

"Is it now?" Sebastian asks with a chuckle.

"Oh yeah..."

Nia sat up from her bed after having taken the best nap of her life. She looked to the right of her and Sebastian laid beside her still snoring away, a satisfied smirk written into his face. Of course the events from a few hours prior to their little cat nap was to blame for the two of them being exhausted.

"Shit...what time is it?" Nia says to herself checking her phone. Once she saw the time she decided to exhale and lay down for another few minutes since all she had to do was constantly check her crock pot for the meatballs.

"Thank God..." She says sighing to herself in relief once she realized her and Sebastian weren't going to be late for Thanksgiving dinner.

"Seb...Sebastian..." Nia says trying to wake the man from his sleep.
