"Hey Nia, how are things?" Celeste asks Nia as she takes a seat beside her. The two of them just so happened to have the same Lunch hour a second time in a row so Nia had Celeste meet her at a specific spot for Lunch.

"Not good..." she admitted.

"Aww what's wrong sis?"

"Derek found me." She sighed poking a fork at her chicken salad.

"Shut up...how?"

"I don't know...I literally came home from work yesterday, took Duke out for a walk and when I came back in there he was...just standing at my apartment door." Nia said as tears rolled down her face. Celeste rested a hand on Nia's arm and gripped onto it tightly. "He wanted to 'talk' but I immediately told him to leave."

"What happened after that?"

"He started yelling at me, and people heard and started leaning out of their apartments and they all just watched, it was humiliating. The only one who cared enough to say anything was Sebastian...if Sebastian didn't stand up for me, Derek definitely would have hit me."

"Oh my gosh....Nia, you should have called me! I would have come over to stay with you..."

"I know. Sebastian was such a sweetheart though...He drove me to the police station so I could file a restraining order, and he let Duke and I camp out at his place for the night. This morning he made me breakfast and made sure I got to my car okay." She said.

"He's really a keeper Nia...I really hope that if you guys become more than friends, you will last." She says.

"It still feels a bit too soon...after the way he'd been there for me last night, I would definitely still give him a chance." Nia admits.

"Well on the bright side Derek shouldn't be able to bother you with a restraining order, he'll do time behind bars if he violates the order." Celeste says.

"Oh yeah, how can I forget...it's only a temporary order meant to last 10 days. After 10 days, I have to face that Psychopath in court. The only way it will become permanent is if I come to the courthouse with a witness. If he violates the order over the next 10 days the most he'll get is a slap on the wrist. He'll only get jail time on a permanent order."

"Oh my gosh, that's wild! If no one else comes through as a witness I'll go to your hearing, I've seen the marks he's left on you, I could vouch for you..."

"It's okay Celeste that's where I got lucky...I kind of gave the Sheriff Sebastian's name before I got his actual consent and when I told him about it, he was more than glad to take the stand for me." Nia says.

"Aww, that is so sweet!" She said squealing.

"I know...I feel awful for bringing him into my drama with Derek, but at the same time I'm thankful that he is willing to go the extra mile. You know what he'd said to me last night?"

"What did he say?" Celeste asks.

"He told me that he would be there to help me..."

"He's such a good man...I'm praying Evans is like him." She says making Nia laugh.

"You're really obsessed with Evans...oh my gosh..."

"I'm being serious!" Celeste says laughing.
