"Hey! Marco!" Nia says greeting a friend of hers who works in the hospital cafeteria. Marco has been working the sandwich bar for as long as Nia has been working in the NICU, and whenever she didn't pack a lunch she always went to Marco.

"Nia! How's it going girl? It's been a while!" Marco says with a chuckle.

"What can I get you today?"

"I have a very odd request...can I get a liverwurst sandwich with American Cheese, light mayo, lettuce, Tomatoes, and pepper?"

"I don't think I have ever had you order liverwurst for as long as I've known you..." Marco says laughing.

"Usually it's Tuna fish or Turkey on toasted wheat bread with mayo, mustard, salt & pepper...What's gotten into you?"

"I dunno...I've just been really into liverwurst recently." Nia says with a chuckle. The two of them continued to chat while Marco fixed Nia's sandwich and Nia paid shortly after.

"Thanks Marco! I know I can always count on you for a decent sandwich." Nia says before heading off to go find Celeste. Nia pulled out her phone and shot Celeste a text.

N- Yo! You still on break? If so where are you? I just got lunch.

C- I'm at the round table closest to the window!

Nia looked around the cafeteria and smiled when she saw Celeste waving from the spot she said she would be in. She was quick to head over and join her best friend for lunch.

"Hey sis! How goes it?" Nia asks taking a seat across from Celeste.

"Not much. Chris just left..."

"You didn't tell me your boo was here, I would have just went somewhere else to eat..." Nia says with a grin.

"Nah it wasn't like that. He had a meeting with his management team so it was just a quick hi and bye type thing. He brought me Panera Bread for lunch!"

"Aww that was so sweet. What did you get?" Nia asks.

"He ordered me a BLT with Avocado, a side of kettle chips and a chocolate chip cookie!" Celeste replies as she opens up her meal with excitement.

"What are you over there eating?"

"Liverwurst on whole wheat bread with American Cheese, light mayo, lettuce, Tomatoes, and pepper."

"Eww Liverwurst is disgusting...since when did you start liking Liverwurst?"

"Girl, one day Sebastian took me to this deli place and I just had a super strong hankering for it. Since then I haven't been able to not eat it...it's good, you should try it!"

"Eww Hell no, you got that." Celeste says making Nia laugh.

"Girl..."

"What's up?" Nia asks.

"I'm late..."

"Oh dang your break is over?" Nia says sounding disappointed that her friend already had to go.

"Oh no that's not what I meant..."

"Nuh-Uh..." Nia says with wide eyes.

"I'm already 3 weeks late...but I took a test this morning and it came back Negative. So I guess it's just stress."
