Zephaniah's POV
Nag patuloy kami sa ganoong pwesto ngunit hindi nag sasalita si Stacey "Bitch talk! cause if u don't, u'll see your dumbass boyfriend lifeless, I'm warning you" Kalmado lang si Xanthus at parang tamad na tamad na tinututukan ng barel si Darel sa ulo.
"Stacey, didn't you know that Engineer Villaflor hates waiting? So, if I were you, I'll spill the bullshit location of this place" madamdamin kong banta sakanya habang nakangiti para maasar siya.
Nanginginig siyang nag salita habang sinasabi ng location nito. Lakas ng loob nilang gumawa ng gan'to, pare pareho naman pala silang kabado. Eto si Kallea sa harap ko ang bilis ng pulso putlang putla na, si Darel lang itong hindi ko nakikitaan ng kaba, palibhasa ay utak kriminal talaga ang hayup!
Dinukot ko ang keypad phone ko mula sa dibdib ko. Nilagay ko na ito simula pa noong nakaka tanggap ako ng threat dahil mahirap na baka makidnap ako at wala akong dalang phone, mabuti nalang advance ako mag isip. "What the fuck, wife?!" tinawanan ko lang siya at nginisihan.
Binato ko kay Xanthus ang phone dahil hindi ako gaanong marunong mag salita ng Maldivian o Dhivehi. Pag kasalo niya ay agad niyang kinausap ang Maldivian police.
Nanatili kaming ganito ang pwesto, wala ni isa sa amin ang nag takang kumilos ng masama hanggang sa dumating na ang mga police pero hindi ko naintindihan ang sinasabi nila "Dijeron que bajen sus armas" pag translate ni Xanthus sa salitang espanyol. naintindihan ko naman ang salitang Dhivehi pero 'di ako masyadong marunong mag salita.
Hindi namin sinunod ang sinabi nila kaya sabi ng isang police ay kung hindi kami susunod mapipilitan silang paputukan kami. Kaya naman pinaliwanag ni Xanthus ang nang yari. Nakarinig ako ng isang malakas na putok ng baril, una ay akala ko may pinaputukan ang mga police pero naramdaman ko ang biglang pamamanhid ng katawan ko mula sa likod hanggang buong katawan ko. May lumabas din na dugo sa bibig ko.
"Mooooon!!" narinig kong sigaw ni Xanthus bago ako tuluyang mawalan ng malay.
Xanthus' POV
While I slowly putting my gun down, I saw Darel pointed his gun to Zephany so I shot him before he could do it to Zephany but it's too late the bullet already hit Zephany's back. As I shot Darel, a loud bang from guns didn't stop, the last thing I knew is Darel was lying down showering his own blood.
"Dwight! Oh my god, oh my god! Moooom! Dwight woke up!! Oh my god" Xanthias starts over reacting when she saw me opened my eyes, when she's just taking a picture of herself earlier.
"OA mo. Kanina pa'ko gising pinanood lang kita mag picture tagal mo matapos" She hit my shoulder slightly so I acted as if it really hurts when I saw the door of hospital room moves.
"Ouch, ate"
"What did you do to your brother, Xanthias! You know that he's not in a good situation!" dinilaan ko siya ng pinagalitan siya ni mama kaya inambahan niya ulit ako.
"How are you son? You've been lying down there for almost a month" Xienne said while walking towards me.
"I'm fine, dad. Mom, where's my wife?" 'di sila nag salita kaya umupo ako ng maayos.
"Mom, I said where's my wife?" I said in a cold voice. And mom starts crying.
"Don't talk to your mom in that voice, Xanthus!" Xienne said and comfort mom.
"You don't tell me that, when I don't know where the fucking fuck is my wife!" I shouted. I wanna remove the dextrose connected to my veins but I don't have enough energy yet. Xanthias, hug me and start crying too.
"X-an...... A-a-amb-amber is i-in c-co-com-coma" Xanthias said in the middle of her sobs. I don't know how to react or what to say but all I know is I want to see her. I calm myself first and wait for her to stop crying, before I talk again.
"C-can you b-bri-bring m-me t-to her?" My voice is shaking cause I'm trying to control my tears from falling. She's badly hurt I'm sure of it, I just woke up late because my body is recovering from the trauma.
My sister helped me to get off my bed and walk me to Zephaniah's room. When I entered the room, I saw the Stones and the monarchy but no one is talking beside Sachiko who's crying so loud and talking to Zephaniah as if she can here her. Her room is quite big than mine.
"Amber, don't leave me" paulit ulit na iyak ni Sachiko
"I will not going to pabinyag Sabrina Blaire if you won't make gising"
"Tito, tita. I'm really sorry for what happened" I said and hug tita Aries.
"If we didn't run away and did it in the right way, this thing won't happen. I will understand if you are mad at me right now and whole heartedly accept the punch and slap you want to give me" I said still not letting go tita Aries because she's crying so hard so I'm caressing her back to comfort her.
"She loves you that's why she chose you. Before the wedding she already asked for our permission that she'll go with you to Maldives and who are we to stop her from loving you?" sabay tapik ni tito Psalm sa braso ko. Nang kumalma si tita ay kinamusta nila ako pero hindi na nila tinanong kung anong nang yari. What I'd give to deserve this kind of love from my girl and from her family?
"Hi love, it's been a year hindi ka pa rin gising? Haba na ng tulog mo niyan ah? I'm sure when you woke up hindi kana magagalit sakin pag ginigising kita kasi isang taon ka nang tulog" I said while caressing her hand. Kaka dating ko lang din ng hospital dahil ang dami kong inasikaso tungkol sa nangyari last year. Isang taon na pala sobrang bilis, ni hindi ko namalayan na isang taon ko na siyang hindi nakaka usap.
I missed her like crazy and I'm so fucking hopeless but still believing in her strength. I know she won't leave, 'cause she loves me. I love you, moon please fight and don't give up.
