Zephaniah's POV
Bukod sa stones ay dumating din ang pamilya nila Blaize, Sachiko, Cooper, at Leighton dahil naging malapit na rin naman ako sakanila kahit na papaano.
"Condolence, Iha" sabi sa akin ng mommy ni Cooper habang hinihimas ang likod ko at dumeretso na sa mga stones.
Umiiyak lang ako sa harap ni nanay at walang ibang kinakausap kung hindi si Mrs. Stones at Sachiko lang, hindi ko alam bakit sobrang gaan ng pakiramdam ko sa nanay ni Khyreese.
"Amber, el abuelo te esta llamando" narinig kong nag salita si Khyreese sa likod kaya naman agad ko siyang hinarap at tinanguan pero napaisip ako sinong abuelo (grandfather) ang tinutukoy niya? Kanya ba? Sumunod nalang agad ko sakaniya.
Nag taka naman ako dahil andito kami sa isang place dito sa chapel na sila ang nag provide, bakit kaya kami andito?
"abuelo ella esta aqui" dinig kong sabi ni Khyreese sa lolo niya na si Mr. Cielo Stones ang may ari ng LCA.
"vena aqui, hija" tawag sakin ni Mr. Cielo Stones. So, I walk towards him in the middle of skepticism.
"Por qué quiere hablar conmigo, Mr. Stones?" tanong ko sakanya kung bakit niya ako pinatawag at laking gulat ko naman nang bigla niya akong niyakap.
"Te extrañamos mucho cariño" ano daw? Nakaka intindi at marunong ako mag Espanyol pero parang hindi ko nakuha yung sinabi niya? Miss niya daw ako?
"Qué quiere decir, Mr. Stone?" tanong ko dahil parang mali ako nang pag kaka intindi sa sinabi niya.
"Eres nuestra nieta perdida hace mucho tiempo. Khyreese acaba de hablarnos de ti anoche porque accidentalmente lo escuchamos a él y a Sachiko hablando por teléfono anoche." Ano daw? Ano to si Mr. Stones joker?
"You must be joking?" medyo natatawang tanong ko habang umiiling.
Khyreese's POV
"You must be joking?" she said while stepping backward and shaking her head as if she can't believe what she just heard.
"We're not joking, Zeph" I said trying in a soft tone.
"drop this bullshit Khyreese! Don't fool me now, not now that my mother just died and you're telling me that I'm you long lost sister" She shouted out of frustration.
"What are your plans?" Sachiko asked. I called her because I'm worried and I don't know what to do, maybe she can help me because she's close to my sister.
"I don't know, Chi" I said and let out a loud sigh.
"Wait, I don't understand. We all know that Amber is a Stones and she has the same name as your sister but, Reese there is only 1%chance that she's your sister they were maybe have the same name and age but she can't be her may puntod ang kapatid mo. One more thing if she is adopted by mamita why she still has her original name? mamita should've changed it"
"I am just 2 years old when that incident happened, Chi. Who knows if there is a real body buried there, right? But what if tata (lolo in Spanish) found out the truth behind her? They were so curious why does she has the same name with my sister, I don't want them to meddle with Amber's life. I want us to buy our time especially now that mamita just died" I am so worried that they'll hire an investigator to investigate mamita's life when she's still alive, just like what I did.
"we shouldn't let them know that she's still alive because we might put her life in danger"
As I remember our call I pinch the bridge of my nose, this is stressing me!!
