It was late in the evening as the group of friends walked down the cobblestone trail towards the carriages. The street lights emitted light onto the path, the sound of feet trudging along the ground being heard.
Y/N and Hermione walked hand in hand in front of the group as they conversed, all of them talking about the new school year that lied ahead of them. Though the two girls weren't really paying attention, their own conversation taking up their focus.
"You're sure that vision you had on the platform was nothing," Hermione asked softly, looking towards Y/N. She nodded, her eyes averted down as she watched her feet move.
"It was nothing, Mione. Just some sort of weird coincidence."
Hermione looked at Y/N concerned, skeptically. She knew that she didn't particularly like to talk about her feelings, nor the reasons of why she inhabits certain ones. Y/N had gotten better at expressing her emotions over the course of her and Hermione's relationship, but there were still a few flaws.
"Alright," Hermione said, "But you'll tell me right away if something else happens, got it?"
Y/N immediately nodded her head as she looked to the girl. "Of course."
The two smiled at each other as the group approached a departing carriage, Cho Chang and her friends in it. Her eyes connected with Y/N's before flickering over to Harry, her smile beaming a bit more than it usually did.
Y/N turned to look at her cousin, a light blush on his pale cheeks. Corey and Sofia were snickering as they stood next to him, watching the interaction.
Cho's carriage started to move, now departing away from the group as she sent them all smiles before turning to talk to her friends.
"Potter, looks like you've still got the hots for her, hm," Brett said, the raven-haired boy turning to glare at him as everyone laughed.
"Lighten up, Harry," Y/N said as she looked towards her cousin, "You've got a full year with her to yourself. Cedric was pulled out of school to become a V.I.P. Auror. Use the best of it."
"Really," Harry said, a small smile rising to his lips as he perked up. Y/N nodded with a snicker, "Yes, but don't get too excited. Keep your dick in your pants, Merlin's beard."
Harry glared at his cousin as everyone laughed, Y/N turning around as she heard footsteps approaching them from behind. A smile immediately rose to her face as she looked at the boy coming towards them.
