The group of wizards and witches stood outside the door of 12th Grimmauld Place. They had all traveled by Portkey to the building, Dumbledore urging them to go home a few hours earlier than they intended for the holidays, and to make sure Mr. Wesley was alright.

Harry was the first to approach the black door of the building, taking a breath before he twisted the knob and slowly opened it. The familiar dark, black hallway welcomed them, the paintings of older Black family members still lining the wall. Everyone slowly started to file in, some noise of chatter being heard from the kitchen. "You should really tell your uncle that he should do redecorating," Corey said, eyeing the cobwebs that lined the ceiling.

Y/N rolled her eyes as Harry let out a chuckle, everyone laughing at the boy. One by one, they started to make their way down the narrow hallway until they reached the kitchen and dining room, the door swinging open as Mrs. Weasley stood on the other side with a smile. "You're all here," she exclaimed with a smile, bringing in her own children for a hug first. Ron, Ginny, and the twins all hugged the woman back with a smile, the group starting to move into the room so they wouldn't be blocking the hallway.

Molly hugged the Weasley children before moving to Karan and Sofia for a group hug, then to Corey and Brett, and so on. After a few seconds, she pulled away from Hermione, looking over her shoulder with a bright smile as she saw the two cousins. She sent the bushy-haired girl a smile before pulling away and going towards the two, her arms wide. "Harry, Y/N, how are you, dears," she asked, wrapping her arms around them.

They both hugged back, smiles on their faces as they rested their heads on their shoulders. "We're doing well, Mrs. Weasley," Y/N said, pulling away. "We're hanging in there." The older woman sent the two a smile as she cupped Harry's face, softly patting his cheeks. "Thank you for helping with Arthur, we truly appreciate it." Harry smiled at the woman as he nodded. "It's no problem," he replied softly, the woman moving to Y/N as she cupped her face now.

"Have you been behaving yourself, Y/N? Staying out of trouble?"

Y/N let out a soft laugh as her eyes flickered from Mrs. Weasley to her friends behind her, all of them watching with smiles. "I've been good, I promise. They've been keeping me in check," she said, her eyes moving to Hermione, the girl watching with a grin. "Hermione's been keeping me in line." Molly smiled before she let out a soft laugh, "Smart girl, she is." Y/N immediately nodded, her eyes glued to her girlfriend's. "Always was."

Hermione's heart fluttered at her words before a creaking of the doorway made them all turn, Sirius standing there with a smirk. Y/N and Harry smiled even more as they made their way over to their uncle, wrapping him in a hug. The man laughed, happy to see his niece and nephew. The three pulled away, smiles on their faces. "Missed me, have we," Sirius said with a small smirk, the two cousins laughing. "We did," Harry said with a smile, the older man chuckling.
