Harry and Y/N walked into the Gryffindor common room, both of them talking intently to each other.

"These rules are complete bullshit," Y/N said, the painting swinging open as they entered the common room. Harry nodded, "Honestly, no magic in the corridors?"

Y/N huffed as they stepped into the room, multiple people inside. Although, what was really weird was that as soon as they stepped foot into the common room, everyone turned to look at them, some with glares, some with sympathy. Mostly everyone's eyes were on Y/N, the girl wearing a confused expression.

Y/N looked over to Dean and Seamus, a newspaper of the Daily Prophet in their hands. She looked down to the title, a scowl taking over her face.

Y/N (Y/L/N) Trialed for Supposed Dementor Attack-Is she telling the truth, or is it just her imagination playing tricks?

A picture of Y/N in the chair of the courtroom she had been in for her trial was underneath the header. She creased her eyebrows together, wondering how someone could've gotten that picture if no one was there. Seamus glared at her as Dean sent her a small smile, Harry and Y/N passing them as they neared the staircase of the boys' dormitories.

The room was eerily quiet as they watched the two cousins, Y/N turning to Dean with a small smile. The boy stood up quickly, wrapping her in a hug.

"Dean, Seamus," she said, sparing the boy a look over Dean's shoulder as they pulled away from their hug. "Good holiday?"

Dean let out a soft laugh as he smiled with a nod, "Alright-better than Seamus' anyway."

Seamus huffed as he placed the newspaper down on the table in front of him, everyone watching as he stood up and walked towards Y/N, Dean and Harry standing next to her.

"My mom didn't want me to come back this year," he said, eyeing Y/N down. She furrowed her eyebrows as she looked at him. "Why not?"

"Let me see," he said, faking himself to look like he was thinking for a moment. After a split second, he pointed to her. "Because of you. The Daily Prophet's been saying a lot of things about you and Dumbledore."

"Seamus," Dean said, urging the boy to be quiet. Y/N looked at Seamus with an offended expression. "What and your mom believes them?"

"Well, nobody was there the night you and Cedric disappeared! Where you 'died'!"

"You calling me a liar, Finnigan," Y/N challenged back, the boy not backing down. Y/N inched herself closer to him, Dean pleading with his friend as Harry watched with a scowl.
