Sadly, time at the Black household had to come to an end. A week and a half had flown past, and everyone was now back at Hogwarts. Harry and Y/N of course didn't want the break to end, wanting every moment to spend with their Uncle Sirius, but, of course like all good things, they must come to an end.
The halls and rooms of the school were once more packed with chatter from the students, the courtyard specifically as well. Everyone was talking and catching up with what they had done over break.
Y/N and Harry walked alongside Cho, the girl and the raven-haired boy becoming quite close ever since their kiss. Y/N was happy for his cousin. He'd practically been fancying her since the beginning of fourth year, and with Cedric around, it certainly didn't make it easy. She could truly see how happy Harry was with the older Ravenclaw, and she couldn't be more ecstatic for him. Even if it meant her secretly wishing he and Ginny would get together.
The three were catching up on what they had done over the holidays, Cho saying she had spent it mostly with her family along with a few friends she had brought home. The two cousins listened intently, both fond of the older girl as she was one of the sweetest people they knew.
Passing through the courtyard, they all talked and laughed, Harry's smile not falling once. Y/N couldn't help but slightly smirk every time she caught Harry or Cho looking at each other with smiles, finding the interactions entertaining. After a few minutes, the three had walked across the courtyard, a voice behind them calling to the two cousins.
"Y/N, Harry!"
Both of the cousins turned around as Y/N felt a hand on her shoulder, a smile immediately rising to her lips as she looked to the two friends in front of her. "Oh, hey, Ronnie. Hey, Mione. What's up?" The two Gryffindors held bright smiles as they looked to Harry and Y/N. Hermione made no move to remove her hand from Y/N's shoulder, only sliding her hand down her arm to interlock with the hers.
"Hagrid's back," she said enthusiastically, Ron nodding his head quickly as Harry and Y/N looked at the two surprised. "You're serious," Harry asked Ron, the redhead nodding. "Really, he's down at his hut." Harry and Y/N both turned to each other, smiles forming on their faces quickly as Y/N practically ran across the courtyard, Harry hugging Cho goodbye.
"We'll see you later, Cho," she yelled over her shoulder, the older Ravenclaw giving her a smile and nod. Y/N dragged Hermione behind her, hand in hand as they made their way across the school to see the half-giant they so dearly missed.

It was still cold out as the Golden Trio and Y/N ran down the hillside towards Hagrid's hut, the harsh January wind hitting them as they sprinted. The four didn't seem to mind, smiles on their faces as laughs left their lips. Y/N and Hermione were a few feet ahead of the two boys, bounding down the grassy hillside with the hands clasped together.
