"You're reading the paper upside down."

Everyone turned to Ron, the boy looking at Luna as she lowered the newspaper in front of her. The carriage still moved underneath them as they near the entrance of Hogwarts, the large castle coming into view.

"I know," she said, "That's how I read."

Ron seemed to be dumbfounded as he looked at her, his mouth slightly open as he looked at her incredulously. Y/N slightly smiled at the boy's shock before turning back to Luna.

"You like reading the Quibbler, hm?"

"Oh, yes," she replied, "My father writes for it. He's one of the top editors on the committee for it."

"Your father," Harry asked. Luna nodded, "Xenophilius Lovegood." Brett perked up in his seat at the name. "He's your father? His articles are the best, I always read them."

Y/N snickered at her best friend's enthusiasm as Luna shot him a smile. "Fangirling, Brett?"

The boy's cheeks puffed out slightly as he huffed, "No, just admiring someone's work."

The carriage erupted into small fits of snickers as Y/N quirked an eyebrow up in amusement before turning back to Luna. "What year are you, I haven't ever really seen you around."

"Fourth year."

"House?"

"Ravenclaw."

Y/N smirked, "Strange, seems I haven't been paying attention or else I would've noticed someone like you in the same house as me."

Hermione glared at Y/N as Luna brightly smiled. Y/N looked to her girlfriend, sending her a wink as Hermione's cheeks blazed a dark pink before turning back to Luna.

"We're all Ravenclaw's except for Mione, Ron, Harry, and Neville. You should sit with us, you'd fit right in."

The group of friends immediately agreed, all of them welcoming Luna to come to them if she needed anything at all. She gratefully smiled at all of them as the carriage pulled into Hogwarts, stopping at the front courtyard of the school.

One by one, each of them got off, Y/N holding out her hand to help Hermione down from it. The bushy-haired girl sent her a smile as she stepped onto the ground, their hands clasping together as they al looked at the familiar castle in front of them.
