When she got to her dorm, Laura was glad she hadn't crossed paths with any one she didn't particularly like. She immediately got out some spare parchment and started writing to Moony.

After having sent the letter, Laura quickly went to bed, not wanting to be awake when roommates walked in. The next morning, Laura woke early and went straight to breakfast, sitting down at the Gryffindor table beside Ginny, Ron and Hermione."Good morning," she greeted them. Hermione and Ginny responded with a smile, but Ron didn't even look her way. "Where's Harry?"
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Ron spat at her. Fred, George and now Ron too?
"Excuse me, Ronald, can I ask you what the bloody hell you mean?" She snapped. "Have I been hit by a curse where all the Weasley's suddenly hate me, or something?"
"Only the idiot ones," Ginny mumbled.
"Ron thinks you helped Harry enter his name in the Goblet of Fire," Hermione explained to her. Laura frowned at the ginger boy.
"Well, he obviously didn't do it himself," Ron argued.
"He obviously didn't do it at all, you mean," Laura responded, shaking her head. "What makes you think he entered his name in a deadly tournament, Ron? Why on earth would he ever do that?"
"Why wouldn't he?" Ron countered.
"Because he's a fourth year competing against wizards of age? Because this was his chance of living through a normal, calm school year? Because it's plain stupid to enter if you know you have no chance of winning?" Laura stood up. "Hermione, where's Harry?"
"He's at the black lake with Neville," Hermione told her, shaking her head at Ron's idiocy. "They've been trying to figure out the first task."
"Thanks," she said and grabbed an apple, leaving them at the table and heading outside.
Slytherin's and Hufflepuff's alike wore pins making fun of Harry. Laura tried her best to keep to herself, but when she spotted Cedric laughing with his friends, she couldn't stop herself from walking over there.
"Seriously, Cedric?" she called. Cedric turned around, his friends snickering at Laura for some reason.
"Sorry about the pins," he told her, a ghost of a smile on his face. Some Hufflepuff snorted behind him and Cedric gave him a look, making him stop immediately. "I've asked them to not wear them, but Malfoy's been distributing them around."
"That's real funny," she snapped at him. "I thought you were better than this, honestly."
"I'm, sorry Little Potter, but your brother is the enemy now-"
"Excuse you, don't call me that," Laura cut him off. "Be better, Diggory."
Laura walked off before hearing his response, but she didn't miss the laughter from his Hufflepuff friends. She ignored them, however, continuing her way to the black lake.
A/N HERE'S THE LETTER IN A NORMAL FONT
Hello Moony,
Happy Halloween! Remember how I said two letters ago how glad I was that Harry was underage and therefore there was no way for him to get involved? I was wrong. Harry's name came out of the Goblet of Fire and now he's the fourth champion. Hogwarts has two champions, the other being Cedric. Fleur Delacour (the most beautiful person I've ever seen, if I'm being honest), and Viktor Krum.
In other words, my brother is in mortal danger, competing against over age Wizards in a deadly championship of death, my best friends are still not talking to me, and I just had to spend an hour scrubbing Snape's office floors and walls. What else could I wish for?Stay safe Moony, I'll write back again next week.
Laura
