Not Alone After All

Chapter VII

"Laurie, do you know who that man is?" Asked Arthur Weasley. He seamed scared, his voice was shaky.

"Yes sir, that is Sirius Black," said Laurie.

"Good, yes that's Black. Do you know why he was thrown into Askaban?"

Laurie knew, of course. "He... he is accused of betraying James and Lily Potter, by telling Voldemort where they were hiding."
Arthur flinched.

"Don't say his name, Laurie."

"I'm not afraid of his name, sir. He is dead."

"What I'm trying to say is; he is out of Askaban. And... well, he is in there because You-know-who is dead. And he is dead because-"

"-Because of Harry," Laurie completed.

"Exactly," he said. "So... the school is the safest place for you and him to be right now but, be careful. He might be looking for... revenge." Laurie started at him for a second. "I mean, it could be nothing. He could even be in another country right now, and want nothing to do with both of you, but... just take care." Laurie stared at him some more, before adding.

"When you have this lovely conversation about an assassin being after us with Harry, try o be convincing. That boy will go after any kind of trouble," she said with a smile and walked away.

••AT THE TRAIN CAUSE IM A LASY ASS MOTHERFUCKER••

"Let's go in here," said Hermione. "Everywhere else is taken." Laura smiled when she saw who was sitting across her.

"Who is that?" Asked Ron. Hermione opened her mouth to answer, but Laurie did first.

"Professor Remus J. Lupin," she explained.

"How did you- how can she know everything?" Asked Ron.

"It's written on his case," Hermione pointed.

"And he's my first adoptive father," said Laurie with a smile. She sat by the window, besides Hermione, then Ron. Harry sat besides Remus

"What?" Asked Harry.

"At the beginning of the summer, he told me that he was going away, and was only going to be back when school started. He's the new Defence against the Dark Arts teacher, I imagine." Laurie explained.

"I hope," said Hermione. "As we didn't have any proper classes last year due to Lockhart."

"Well you seamed to have a crush on him," said Harry. Hermione opened her eyes wide.

"I did not!" She said. Ron rolled his eyes. For some seconds, there was an awkward silence, until Laura cracked up and started laughing. Soon enough, Harry, Ron and Hermione joined her. Moments like that were Laura's favourites.

After they stoped laughing, Harry looked over to Lupin once more. "Is he really asleep?" Asked Harry.

"What is it?" Asks Hermione.

"Close the door."

Ron, Laurie and Hermione exchange a curious glance, and then Ron rose to close the cabin's door.

They spend sometime talking, about stuff I'm too lazy about writing, sorry. Anyways, some time further:

"So let me get this straight," said Ron. "So Sirius Black escaped out of prison to kill you two?"

"That's what your father says," said Laurie.

"Yeah," said Harry.

"But I mean... they'll catch Black won't they?" Asked Hermione. "I mean, eventually.."
