Jay dragged Sunghoon and Jake down to the school store located on the first floor saving Jake from his classmates' questions. 

"Kids these days right?", Jay said to Jake as they make their way down the steps.

"So Shim huh? Cool name, oof - ," he continued to speak, but Sunghoon nudged him causing him to stop mid-sentence.

Jake raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything.

"This is Sunghoon by the way," Jay said after he had recovered from the blow his friend had inflicted. 

When Jake heard this, he flinched and furrowed his brow and just for a second, he almost looked concerned. Sunghoon, being the observant boy that he was noticed. 

"Is there something wrong?" he asked Jake. 

"No," Jake replied, almost too quickly.

The rest of their journey to the school store was lead by Jay talking amidst an awkward silence between Jake and Sunghoon. He mostly spent the entire time describing the perfection of Jungwon Yang.

After several sentences from Jay concerning the severity of Jungwon's cuteness, Jake had to lean over to Sunghoon and ask quietly,

"Who is Jungwon?"

Sunghoon smirked and began to reply, "A certain first year student who caught the eye of a certain second year student."

As the trio began to arrive at the school store, Sunghoon's smirk turned into a full-fledged smile as he saw a familiar face that had been described to him too many times by his best friend.

"As a matter of fact," Sunghoon continued to Jake, "It's that guy over there." Sunghoon nodded his head towards Jay's not-so-secret crush.

Jake smiled, partly because the thought of Jay meeting his crush was amusing, but also because the boy next to him was, in his opinion, worth smiling for. 

"...just beautiful! I mean, the cutest thing I've ever seen!" Jay was nearly shouting his love for Jungwon when suddenly he saw the subject of his words right in front of him

"Hi, Jay Hyung!" Jungwon said when he saw the older boy approaching.

"Um, uh, eh, ah..."

Sunghoon nudged his babbling friend before he made an even bigger fool of himself, and luckily Jay was able to get his senses back.

"Hey Jungwon!"

Jay said. 

"So what do you guys want to get?" Jay asked Jake and Sunghoon,

"Since Jake is new I'll buy this time!" he continued in a very loud voice, almost as if he wanted a certain someone to hear.

Sunghoon saw right through, but he wasn't about to turn down free snacks, and he suspected Jake felt the same way because he saw Jake's pure smile widen.

'His smile is just so beautiful...' Sunghoon thought to himself before he was aware of this own thoughts. 

'What the..? I mean, anyone would think that about Jake's smile right?'
