The next day, Sunghoon waited for Jay to come out to go to school together. They lived next door to each other in an exclusive neighborhood because both Sunghoon and Jay's parents were wealthy. In fact, the only reason Jay was able to get into Sky High School was because he was so rich.

Sunghoon glanced at his watch which told him that Jay was late as usual. He took the spare time to memorize some vocabulary words that he had a quiz on today. He was about to go through them for the third time when the door to Jay's house opened.

"Okay I'm going, I'm going!"

Jay yelled as he hurried to get his shoes on.

"I know I'm late. Come on, let's take my car."

Sunghoon and Jay made their way to Jay's car where a chauffeur was waiting for them. While they were going to school, Sunghoon kept going over the vocab words while Jay talked on and on about his crush. Although Sunghoon only processed about 50% of what Jay ever said, even he knew about Jay's most recent crush. It was some guy named Jungwon who was a year younger then them. 

"I mean, I didn't even know a person could be that cute! Have you seen his cheeks? And his dimples? Oh my god I can't even... Are you listening??"

"Huh?"

Jay sighed, "You know you are lucky we've been friends since elementary school. Otherwise I would have thought you were an asshole."

Sunghoon smiled, which was a very rare thing to happen.

"You know we have a vocab quiz today right?"

"You know I'm filthy rich and probably won't have to work a day of my life right?"

Sunghoon was amused by his friend and his simple approach to life.

"But what does it all mean without someone to share it with.. Someone like my Jungwon..!"

"My Jungwon? Creepy much?"

Jay furrowed his brows.

"You know, someday, you are going to fall for someone hard and you'll understand how I feel. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but someday!"

Sunghoon chuckled. 

"Maybe but until then, I think I'm going to study for the test.'

Jay kept talking about his precious Jungwon all the way to their school while Sunghoon listened all the while keeping his eyes on the vocabulary. 

When they pulled up to the entrance and got out, Sunghoon could feel the eyes of the other students on him. He knew that he was popular. How could he not? He got asked out almost twice every week. But he never accepted any of them. He thought it was a waste of time because he never had feelings for any of them. Also, he was busy maintaining his perfect GPA and various academic club activities. 

Jay and Sunghoon made their way to their classroom and sat in their seats. Sunghoon sat alone at the very back while Jay sat right in front of him with an empty seat beside him. 

"So do you think the rumors are true?"

Jay asked Sunghoon.

"What rumors?"

Sunghoon replied halfheartedly .

"So you know how our school made an art program last year?"

Sunghoon nodded. It was a pretty famous story - out of the blue, some corporation paid millions to have an art program added to Sky High School which prided itself in being the most academically prestigious high school in Korea.
