Sunghoon breathed in the brisk air as he walked toward Somi's house after his classes. Flashes of what had happened that day kept replaying in his head. The way he had snapped at Somi and then just left without any explanation. The raven-haired boy knew that he wasn't a very socially aware person, but even he knew that that was something you definitely shouldn't do. 

As he drew nearer and nearer to his destination, he wondered how he should act when he arrived. Or rather, how others might expect him to act. Was he supposed to be sorry? Angry? Afraid? 

Sunghoon sighed. What were they even going to talk about? Their project was the best version it could possibly be - Sunghoon had made sure of that. Normally, he would never have agreed to go when he knew it wasn't academically relevant. But then again, normally, he wouldn't have had lunch with any of his classmates or even talked to them at all.

A million thoughts slurred through the troubled boy's head as he found himself on Somi's doorstep. He took a deep breath before knocking on the door, only to find that it was already unlocked - cracking open as his knock had slightly pushed the wood.

The boy was about to walk in when he heard voices talking in another room.

"That's your plan?"

Sunghoon flinched. It was Taehyun's voice, but the tone was one of disbelief. Was there something wrong?

Sunghoon didn't know why but he chose to stay outside and continue to listen to the distant conversation.

"Do you have anything better to do?"

"No, but Soobin and Yeunjun hyung are already kind of pissed at me. Imagine what they'd think if I-"

"Taehyun, just do it!"

"Why me? Why not you or that Jay guy?"

Sunghoon furrowed his brow. He thought Jay didn't know Taehyun or Somi. What was going on?

"We have... other things do to, okay?"

"But-"

"No buts, just do it!"

Sunghoon decided he had heard enough and quickly closed the slightly open door and knocked as loud as he could.

He heard silence set down inside before footsteps hurried towards him.

"Sunghoon!" Taehyun said as he opened the door. 

"Hey, Taehyun," Sunghoon said as he stepped inside. He followed the smaller boy into the living room where Somi was waiting for them. 

"Hey, Somi," Sunghoon said when he saw the brown-haired girl.
