Moya and I met up with her friend at the ramen shop. "Hey, girl!" Moya waves to her friend.
"Moya!" the girl waves back. She has fair skin with green eyes and pink hair. She has her bangs pulled back with a red ribbon to keep them from falling over her forehead. Her hair reaches her lower back. She has on a long-sleeved red jacket with a white circle on the back. She also has on a pair of dark green tights underneath a knee-length red apron skirt with white trimming.
"Who's the girl with you?" the pink-haired chick inquires.
"This is my cousin Yōsei," Moya introduces her friend to me. "Yōsei, this is my friend Sakura Haruno."
"It's a pleasure to meet you," I smile at her. "Moya always brags to us about your talents."
"I'm not that special," Sakura informs me. "If you really want to see some awesome talents, you should watch Sasuke Uchiha!" Sakura squeals softly and has a huge smile on her face. "He's the best student at the academy. Not to mention the hottest one."
"Really?" I inquire, tilting my head.
"You know it!" Sakura informs me. "Although stay away from him, Sasuke is all mine!"
"Trust me," I inform Sakura, smiling sweetly, "he's all yours. As far as I'm concerned, men are just distractions from studies and training." I give Sakura a sweet close-eyed smile before the three of us head inside the Ichi Raku Ramen Shop. "Smells delicious."
"Ichi Raku has the best ramen in the Land of Fire," Moya informs me. We take a seat at the bar and order some ramen. I get what Moya is getting since I haven't tried the ramen here before. Sakura, Moya, and I talk and laugh while eating ramen. Shortly after, we take a walk around the village.
"Are you going to start attending the academy with us?" Sakura inquires.
"Yeah!" I nod my head. "I'm supposed to register tomorrow. Although, it'll be a few weeks until I can start attending. I'll be in the same class as you and Moya, actually. Mom said that since Moya's my cousin, I should be in the same class as her. She thinks it'll make the transition easier for me."
"I see," Sakura nods her head. "Well, now you have two friends! Moya and me!"
"Really?!" I exclaim, smiling. "That's great! I've never had a friend outside of my family before."
"How come? You're such a nice girl." Sakura frowns and Moya answers.
"Yōsei is the daughter of the Dōkutsukage," Moya informs Sakura. "She's personally trained by her mom and my mom. She's liked by a lot of people in the Hidden Cave, that's true. However, she's extremely introverted and can be extremely awkward if she doesn't have me around her."
"Yeah," I nod my head in agreement. "I tend to be better with kids younger than me. It's my calm disposition. However, I just can not interact with any older than me or the same age as me."
"I see," Sakura nods her head. "Well, I have to get going. It was nice to see you, Moya. It was nice meeting you, Yōsei!" Sakura waves to Moya and I as she heads off toward her house. Moya and I wave at her and begin making our way toward the apartment.
Along the way, Moya and I run into one of her classmates. He has several traits more akin to animals, though he is very clearly human. He has sharp, black eyes with vertical slit-like pupils, pronounced canine teeth, and nails that are extremely sharp. He also has distinctive red fang markings of his clan on his cheeks. His hair is covered by his grey, hooded fur-lined coat with the hood placed over his head. He has on a pair of dark greyish pants.
He doesn't seem to notice me, which is good. I mean, it's not a surprise. I tend to fly under the radar very well. Some of the most skilled Anbu with great sensing abilities can still be startled when I speak up after they enter a room, thinking it's only Mom. It's nothing new, and it's nothing special. It's extremely easy for me to pass by without being noticed. I don't know why. My Chakra is extremely powerful and noticeable. Oh well. Less talking for me.
After Moya says goodbye to the boy --- Kiba she called him --- the two of us make our way back to the apartment. When we enter, Moya takes a shower and I take off my boots. I sit in the family room, reading a few handbooks about the Hidden Leaf and its history. I read all the way up to the point where it talks about the Fourth Hokage defeating the Nine-Tailed Fox --- Kurama --- and sealing it inside a newly born baby boy.
Moya comes into the family room and sits next to me. "Whatcha reading?"
"The history of the Hidden Leaf."
"Oh, you're reading about the Fourth Hokage, right now, aren't you?"
"Yeah! Do you know anything about the baby boy the Nine-Tailed Fox was sealed into?"
"I know that he attends the ninja academy and doesn't have any friends. He's in my class. I think his name is Naruto."
"I see. Maybe I'll become his friend when I meet him!"
"Maybe. He and I are on good terms with each other. He might like you as well."
"Might?" I quirk an eyebrow and Moya laughs. I soon join in on the laughter and the two of us decide on making some hot cocoa before stargazing a little while before going to sleep. Shortly after Moya and I go to bed, my head begins to throb again. This time, it lasts for fifteen minutes before the visions appear.
The vision of me becoming a Chūnin is much more vivid than previously. I'm able to look around the vision as well. In the vision, I'm standing in what appears to be a Kage office. Next to me is Shikamaru, from the looks of the pineapple hairstyle. Across from me is a woman, from the style of hair and a rather rotund chest.
The vision of me attending the Chūnin exams is also more vivid. Our future sensei's features are more defined. Her hair is less blurry and is taking more of the shape and volume of her actual hair. Her outfit is also more detailed, but her facial features are still rather blurry. It's the same with our teammate.
The next vision from when I become a Jōnin. I'm not a whole lot older than when I became a Chūnin, but I'm at least one or two years older. Sitting across from where I'm standing is the same lady from when I became a Chūnin. It's the same office, but instead of having the wood over the windows, the windows are fixed.
Not long after that vision passes, am I back to the vision of war. A lot of the faces in the vision are more defined from seeing them today. I can begin to make out familiar looks and hairstyles. Moya, Mom, and Aunt Kiri are standing off to my right, which means that, from the looks of Moya's age, her wedding to Yutanpo has been put off. Mom hardly looks older, but she does have a couple of strands of grey throughout her hair from what looks like stress. Aunt Kiri looks about the same as Mom, but her normally vibrant turquoise hair is darker.
The next and final vision is of the twin children. There's no mistaking that the baby girl looks very similar to me. The baby boy still looks very similar, but I can't exactly figure out why. Oh well.
