        A Few Weeks Later

It's been ten weeks since I joined the Academy and I've been tied for the top for eight weeks.  The Uchiha kid, Sasuke, and I have been tied for top for eight weeks.  It's annoying, honestly.  Why can't he just miss one thing?  Just one tiny question.  Then we wouldn't be tied for the top of the class.  Anyway, that doesn't matter.  Only one day left until the graduation exam and I am ready to ace it!

"Yōsei!" Moya knocks on my bedroom door.  "You ready to go?"

"Yeah!" I answer, slipping on my headband.  I exit my bedroom and walk with Moya to the front door.  Both of us slip on our shoes and make our way toward the Academy.

"Can you believe we only have a day until we can graduate?" Moya smiles brightly.

"I know!" I nod my head.  "It's so exciting!  We're going to be Genin soon!"

"Moya, Yōsei!" a familiar voice calls from off to the right.  Turning, I notice that it's Kumo.

"Good morning, Kumo," Moya greets our friend as he walks over.  Kumo has on an indigo blue high-collar shirt with sleeves that go 3/4 of the way down his arms.  He has on a pair of onyx black fingerless gloves.  Over his shirt, she has on a mauve purple vest with a marigold orange belt around his waist.  To go along with his outfit, he has on a pair of onyx black pants and denim blue shinobi sandals.  He also has peacock blue hair that spikes up and bright grass-green eyes.

        "Ready for school?"  Kumo inquires.

"You bet," I answer, smiling.  When we arrive at school, we make our way up to Iruka's classroom and sit in our normal seats.  While we wait for class to begin, we notice that Naruto is nowhere to be seen.

"He's probably skipping class again," Moya sighs, shaking her head.  Iruka comes in shortly after lunch with Naruto tied up in rope.

"I'm at the end of my rope, Naruto," Iruka scolds Naruto.  "You failed the graduation test last time and the time before that. Tomorrow you've got another chance, and you're messing up again!"  From the looks of it, Naruto couldn't care less about Iruka scolding him.

"Hmph!" Naruto mutters as he looks away.  I can tell that Iruka's patience just snapped from the look on his face and the vein threatening to pop out of his head.

"Fine!" he exclaims, pointing at everyone in the class.  "Because you missed it, Naruto, everyone will review the transformation jutsu!"

"Aww!" the majority of the class complains.  Everyone lines up and Iruka calls everyone up one by one, starting with Sakura.

"Alright, Sakura here," she mumbles.  "Let's do it.  Transform!"  There's a puff of white smoke that covers her.  When it disappears, in Sakura's place is a perfect replica of Iruka.
