Red vs Blue: Remembrance

Another explosion occurs outside Blue Base in Valhalla. Tucker gets thrown against the wall of the base, groaning as he collapses. Kan slashes at the gray soldier, grunting with effort to land a blow. The grey soldier jumps up and double kicks Kan in the face, making the Elite take several steps back.

Kan shakes his head and pulls out one of his plasma rifles, shooting bolts of blue energy at the soldier. The gray figure then zig-zags away from Kan's shots and manages to drop-kick him off the edge of the base.

Caboose entered the fray and fired his assault rifle, making the soldier back-flip away and dodge all the bullets. Tucker pushed himself to his feet and brought out his sword. When Caboose's rifle clicked empty, he looked down at his gun before back up at the gray soldier.

Caboose: Uh oh.

The soldier advances toward Caboose, but Tucker jumps in between them and starts 'swishing' at him.

Tucker: Swish! (gets kicked in the side) Ow! Swoosh! (gets uppercutted) Fuck! Fwoosh! (gets jabbed in the throat)

Tucker coughs, gasping for air from the last attack. The soldier twists his arm and spins him around before throwing him to the ground. Tucker shakes his head and looks at his hand to see his sword was missing.

The soldier stomps on his chest and Tucker sees him with his sword in hand.... only for it to deactivate and the soldier shakes it in confusion.

Tucker: Some people just can't get it up. Bow Chicka- GUH!

The soldier grabs Tucker by the throat and starts beating him in the face with just the handle of the sword like a pair of brass knuckles.

Caboose jumps on the soldier's back and yanks him off of Tucker, who was bleeding from the nose. The soldier grabs at Caboose's arms and throws him across the base.

Caboose looks up as the soldier stands over him and aims his pistol at his head. Just before he pulled the trigger, a flash of purple and magenta appear in front of the soldier's gun.

Theta: STOP! Please don't kill him! Caboose is my friend!

The soldier was frozen stiff as it recognizes the AI immediately.

???: Theta? You're still active?

Theta was surprised that the voice was feminine. Wash and Sarge then run up behind the soldier, aiming their weapons.

Wash: Don't move!

Sarge: Freeze, dirtbag!

Slade, South, and Kan then rush in front of Caboose.

South: Okay, pal. I'm gonna ask this once and ONLY once. Who the hell are you and why are you here?

???: Wow, South. You survived too? I'm surprised you and Wash don't recognize your old boss.

The soldier's armor changes from gray to cyan immediately, making Wash, South, and Slade lower their guns.

Wash/South/Slade: CAROLINA?!
