Date: December 26th
Time: 4:12pm
Location: Y/n's apartment
Mood: international ARMYs waiting for the subs
<><><>Bed made, floors swept, refrigerator cleaned out and laundry in the wash. Since arriving home a week earlier than scheduled, Y/n had put herself to work to help the time pass. She would finally get to see Jimin, but only after work. When she asked Hyuna if maybe she could work her magic and heavily pressure the daycare supervisor into letting Jimin out of work early, it hadn't worked for once.
The daycare was already running low on workers due to the holidays so that put her at home waiting on him and wondering when she should throw 'you're a werewolf' in his face. Or if she should bring the subject up at all. If she was wrong it would make her look insane. And if she was right, maybe it would make her insensitive.
Her hand rubbed at the space between her eyes to stave off the incoming headache. "You can't just ask someone if they're a werewolf, Y/n."
Jimin might not have...come out of the woods yet, or so to speak.
But she felt like she had a right to know. This was a person she was becoming more attached to everyday. Someone who she liked far more than she wanted to admit. And if that wasn't a good enough reason, she wanted to know: if Jimin was a werewolf, why were full moons becoming increasingly harder for her to handle?
Since the last full moon she had worked tirelessly to fit werewolves into a commonsensical, scientifically possible area of her brain and had been somewhat successful in the endeavor.
The moon made her think: astronomy. Astronomy made her think of the infinite number of planets in the infinite number of galaxies there were. Life here on earth was life as we know it, but trillions of light years away, life was likely far more evolved than we could imagine. Aliens weren't impossible (in fact were more probable than not) and possibly there existed more than humanely comprehensible.
Then she brought that theory back to earth and compared it, tested it to what was really known and not known.
As much as she hated to acknowledge it, science didn't have the answers to everything. There was no way of knowing what was at the bottom of the ocean. No one could say why we need sleep. Or how bicycles stay upright. It couldn't even explain gravity.
That brought her to: evolution. Evolution was a continuous process throughout generations. If dolphins evolved from four legged animals and birds from dinosaurs, wasn't it theoretically possible for a wolf/human subspecies to develop?
Perhaps her headache was more due to extensive research, as opposed to her Jimin separation. Because research she did, basically writing a thousand page thesis on the subject.
Sarcasm has left the chat. Because she really wrote out a thousand pages worth of notes.
The end result was: Jimin was a werewolf and she (maybe) had her mind wrapped around how that could actually be possible.
The clock ticked closer and her anxiety grew along with it. Should she cook? She didn't know how...was her hair ok? These clothes were frumpy and probably the oldest most worn sweater she owned, changing into something nicer should be a priority.
"Act up you can snatched up-"
Y/n raced for her phone, silently reminding herself to put it back on vibrate.
"Act up you can snatched up, dirty ass nails baby girl you need to-"
"Jimin?" The name on the caller ID surprised her, as she had been informed by Kitty that Jimin had somehow busted his to pieces.
