Special chapter: Rosie
<><><>
At the age of two whole years, there were a myriad of accomplishments Rosie had worked hard to earn. Walking, talking. Distinguishing colors and people. Using the potty. Well, she was still working on that one. Sometimes accidents happen.
On the outside looking in, her life was mundane, normal. But from her eyes, life was a magical, colorful place filled with all her favorite people, Disney princesses, unicorns and baby sharks. Every morning she woke with this great burst of energy that ran out around lunch time so she had to recharge.
After nap time, it was go, go, go! There was so much to do. So many toys to play with. Though admittedly her favorite thing was the empty boxes that the toys came in. Those were magical castles, a tent in the wilderness, a cave made of ice and sparkles. They weren't limited to certain colors and sounds. Not as long as she could imagine. Empty boxes were whatever her imagination could conjure up.
Rosie was a happy little girl. There wasn't really anything in her life that she disliked, except for vegetables. Especially cucumbers. Those were the worst. Apart from being forced to eat vegetables, her life was a good one. She had a fun mom who stayed home with her and played pretend and would teach her all the important things. Her dad she really liked because he would do things like put her on his shoulders to make her feel like she was flying, and he would have tea parties with her and all her favorite stuffed animals.
Rosie liked to think of her mom and dad as the king and queen, because obviously, she was a princess. The building they lived in was a castle. There was her big brother, Seo-Joon, who was actually a dragon and he guarded the castle. Once she had asked him why the witch cursed him and made him a dragon, but he tried to say he wasn't a dragon. Which was wrong. Seo-Joon was a dragon and no one could tell her different. Rosie was very knowledgeable in this subject.
And last but not least, was her favorite and the best person ever, her unnie. Or as Rosie liked to call her, her true loves darling.
Not that she held a lot of memories, but Unnie was the first person she could remember rocking her to sleep. She was the one that would always reach for her when she cried, unlike her oppa who would pass her back off to mom. Unnie was the one who taught her the magic of empty boxes and the one that never got angry or raised her voice. Unnie was a soft pillow in a world full of rocks.
But now this big meany Jimin was trying to steal her away! How dare this lord Farquad character walk into her house and try to take her person!
When they first met, Rosie liked this Jimin. He killed an eight legged dragon right in front of them! It was amazing! She thought it was so amazing that she gave him one her stickers. Now, she wasn't really feeling this guy.
They sat on the sofa together, Rosie in her footie pajamas and sitting in sister's lap. Her arms and legs were wrapped tightly around her torso and she was sort of hiding behind the wild curls of hair that hung over her eyes. She didn't know why, but there something about the way Jimin looked at her unnie that she didn't like.
Really, she hated it. He looked like her loved her, but Rosie didn't want that. If he loved her, he might take her away to his own castle!
"Do you remember Jimin?" Y/n's hand gingerly removed the hair from Rosie's eyes so she could see properly.
In answer she gave out a tiny, "yeah," and Jimin smiled at her.
"I still have the sticker you gave me!" He pulled out his phone to show her Ariel on his phone case. "All of my friends like it. I told them that a princess gave it to me and they were amazed."
