<><><>Alarmingly, Jimin's allergies returned with a vengeance. After showing Jackson into the living room, she ditched them all to make some herbal tea. In part to help with this allergy problem Jimin seemed to have, but mostly to give her the opportunity to settle her nerves.
As her mother would say, a watch pot never boils. But she stood by the stove anyway, patiently waiting for the water in the kettle to warm. The low murmur of conversation drifting in from the living room gave her some comfort. At least no one else was as awkward as she was and could carry on a conversation normally.
Already having made the decision to reach for help, finally, had been a difficult decision to make. However, now she was stuck in limbo, waiting for the holidays to end to get said help, and still struggling with the same issue in the mean time. Seo-Joon could be mean and her mom embarrassing, but when they were here she didn't worry about how to entertain company because they always did it for her. Without them here, worry and anxiety irked her nerves.
Another warm presence at her back announced the arrival of another person. This time she automatically knew who it was, considering that Taehyung or Jackson would have to have some type of nerve to come in and back hug her.
"I want them to leave." His voice a low rumble, Jimin's breath tickled against the delicate skin of her ear. She strained to hear the voices of the other two male's conversation in the other room before relaxing into his hold. It wasn't like Jimin had ever forced it on her, but he knew she wasn't a fan of PDA.
"Why?" Though it was obvious no one was listening in, she whispered her reply, head turning slightly in his direction.
He rested his chin on her shoulder before answering. "This is a special day for us. I want to be alone and do soul mate things with you already. I want to talk about it and answer all your questions and tell you everything about us. I've waited forever for today and they're ruining it."
"You have?" Of course she felt the same. There were a million questions she sought the answers to. The fact that Jimin felt just as strongly about her was, in her opinion, quite astounding. She still hadn't completely grasped the concept.
"Mm." A puff of warm air exited his nose as he pouted. She squirmed, suddenly feeling nervous for no reason. Maybe that was her Jimin sense tingling, because rather than saying anything more he pressed his lips to her neck and asked in a low breath, "can I have one of my kisses now?"
Her eyes shot to the doorway, despite knowing neither of the other men were about to walk through. The sound of their conversation told her they remained in the living room.
"Not now." Flushing bright red, she directed her attention back to the kettle, internally urging the water within to boil already.
"Why not?" She didn't look, but knew from the sound of his voice that his face had formed into a pout.
"They might see..." again she squirmed in his grip, gingerly pushing against the arms wrapped around her waist in a bid for freedom.
"I don't care if they see." Jimin said, a prideful and somewhat bragging note to his voice.
"Just...let me go."
His arms tightened as he let out a whispered but fierce, "Never."
"Negative one kisses."
In an instant he had backed off, his expression reminiscent of a pouting child. "You are rude."
