We walked outside and many came up to me asking if I was alright and the usual questions.

"Yeah, I'm alright." Hershel was a bit confused as to how I was even walking. So we had to explain to him about Castiel. And then he understood. We also had to tell him that even with his power he wasn't able to heal the dead. Something about it made him useless against them. Although for the others I had to simply say that I'm a fast healer and drugs. They managed to believe it.

"Who're they?" Dale asked.

"These are my brothers, and this is our friend. Sam, Dean, and Castiel." I introduced.

"Thank you for taking care of our idiot sister."

"Who says I'm the idiot? I'm the one who has to clean up your messes." I raised a brow.

We were gathered under a big tree where we all placed rocks as a grave for Otis. Of course I was still guilty of his death. As Andrea place a rock Hershel began speaking.

"Blessed be God. Father of our lord Jesus Christ. Praise be to him." Rick walked up to leave a stone before walking back. The three boys felt a bit uncomfortable since God isn't really...yeah.

"For the gift of our brother Otis, for his span of years, for his abundance of character; Otis, who gave his life to save a woman's. Now more than ever, our most precious asset, we thank you, God, for the peace he enjoys in your embrace. He died as he lived, in grace." Hershel looked at Shane. I just noticed he shaved his head how strange.

"Shane, will you speak for Otis?"

"I'm not good at it. I'm sorry."

"You were the last one with him. You shared his final moments. Please. I need to hear, I need to know his death has a meaning." Patricia pleaded.

"Okay...we were about done. Almost out of ammo. We were down to pistols by then I was limping, it was bad." I looked at the boys and noticed Cass was looking at Shane weirdly, his eyes were narrowed. I raised a brow before continuing to listen to Shane's story. "Ankle all swollen up. 'We've got to save the girl,' See, that's what he said. He gave me his backpack, he shoved me ahead, 'Run,' he said. Said 'I'll take the rear, I'll cover you.' And when I looked back..." he stopped for a moment and then walked up to the stone grave.

"If not for Otis...I'd have never made it out alive and that goes for Daphne too. It was Otis." I closed my eyes in guilt.

"He saved us both...If any death ever had meaning, it was his." He continued limping toward the grave of rocks and placed his rock on it.

As the funeral finished I decided to catch up with my brothers. "Why'd it take so long in getting here?"

"Dude, it's California, you can imagine why."

"Everybody was getting infected fast, we were trapped. It took about three weeks until we managed to escape with the help of Cass." I turned to the angel and hugged him. He became a bit tense. He still wasn't used to this.

"Thank you." He hugged me back nevertheless.

"You're welcome." I let go of him and turned back to the boys.

"You should've seen it, it was crazy. We tried to save as many as we could but-" Dean stopped himself. I went up to him and hugged the two.

"You did what you could. No one expected it to go around fast." I said to them.

"Lisa and Ben?" I asked.

"I had Cass take them to Bobby's."

"I'll be bringing them food and water when I can." I sighed in relief.

"That's good to know."

"Daphne!" I turned to see Glenn waving. I held my hand up and he left.

"You mind helping us out?" I asked turning to the boys.

"The missing girl?" I nodded.

"Her names Sophia, we lost her about three days ago? Four?" They nodded and we began walking towards the group. We all huddled up on the front of the car.

"How long this girl's been gone?" Hershel asked.

"Since day 3." I saw Maggie coming toward up with something in her hands.

"County Survey Map." He flatten it out.

"Shows terrain and elevations."

"This is perfect. We can finally get this thing organized." I nodded.

"We can grid the whole area. It might be best if we start searching in teams though." I said.

"Are you sure you're up for it?"

"Of course. We doing like sitting around being useless." I said.
