The next morning we all began eating, me and the guys were huddled up while Ace was playing and beating Dean in Blackjack.

"Um- guys?" I raised a brow as Glenn was standing in front of everyone.

"So...barn's full of walkers." He blurted out the blue. I stopped eating and looked at him wide eye. What...? I looked at my brother who were shocked and surprised as well. We all stopped eating and went to go investigate the barn.

"Why the hell is Hershel keeping those things?"

"He thinks they're sick people." Dale said next to us.

"What?" The three of us said in unison.

"Does he think there's a cure?"

"He seems to."

"What could there possible be? The CDC literally blew up a couple of days ago." I said. Dale shrugged as we stopped in front of the Barn. Shane looked inside before backing up.

"You cannot tell me you're alright with this!" Shane said angrily.

"No, I'm not. But we're the guests here. This isn't our land." Rick said.

"This is our lives!" Shane started to raise his voice.

"Lower your voices." Glenn warned.

"We can't just see this under the rug."

"It ain't right. Not remotely...Okay, we've either got to go in there, we gotta make things right or we've just gotta go. Now we've been talking about Fort Benning for a long time."

"We can't go!" Rick said.

"Why Rick? Why?"

"Because my daughter is still out there." I nodded.

"Okay." Shane looked like he was about to burst. He better not- "Okay. It think it's time that we all start to just consider the other possibility." I furrowed my brows.

"Shane! We're not leaving Sophia behind."

"We're close to find this girl!" I said.

"I just got her damn doll two days ago!" Daryl said.

"You found her doll Daryl. That's what you did. You found a doll." I felt myself getting mad.

"Man you don't know the hell you're talking about!" Daryl snapped.

"I'm just saying what needs to be said! You get a good lead. It's in the first 48 hours!"

"Shane stop!"

"Let me tell you something else man. If she was alive out there and saw you coming all merged out with your buck knife and your spiked bat she would've run in the other direction!"

That's it! I don't with this asshole! I began waking towards him as he and Daryl were about to fight. I got close to Shane and I punched him right in the jaw making him fall. I felt arms pulling me back.

"Let me go! I ain't done with this asshole just yet!" I yelled.

"Back off!" I saw Shane get up and tell Lori to get off him. I saw blood coming out of his mouth and nose.

"Just let me talk to Hershel. Let me figure it out." Shane snapped once again.

"What are you gonna figure out?!"

"If we're gonna stay. If we're gonna clear this barn, I have to talk him into it. This is his land." Rick tried to calm him down.

"Hershel sees those things in there as people- sick people. His wife, his stepson." Dale spoke out.

"You knew?" Shane asked him.

"Yesterday. I talked to Hershel."

"And you waited the night?"

"I thought we could survive one more night. We did. I was waiting till this morning to say something. But Glenn wanted to be the one."

"The man is crazy, Rick. If Hershel thinks those things are alive or- no!"

"You can let go now." I muttered.

"Are you calm?" My older brother asked.

"Yes." I said. He hesitated but let me go. I hugged and cracked my knuckles. Suddenly the barn doors tried to open. We heard growling and snarls from the inside as the chain lock rattled against the doors. I pulled Ace behind me as I put my hands behind me as I was about to grab my gun ready to shoot. My brothers doing the same.

Rick assured us that he will talk to Hershel today about the walkers. Me and the boys made it back to the Impala and we were still surprised.

"Hershel was a hunter. He knows better!" Dean whispered. Me and Sam nodded.

"All we can do for now is wait until Rick talks to Hershel. But for now let's hope they don't escape and worry about finding the girl." They nodded as I saw Ace coming towards us.

"Mom, I'm going with Carl and his mom. She said she can help teach me math." I nodded as he walked towards them with a notebook in hand.
