Daryl came by telling us that he's going out again to find Sophia. I asked him if I should join him but he said he's be fine on his own. I glanced around without my brothers or Cass noticing and motioned the invisible hound to follow him.
"Ace is progressing very well."
"In reading?" He nodded. I smiled. "World may have gone to shit but you still gotta learn a bit."
"He asked me about my father." Cass said.
"God?" He nodded while looking at my son with his friend and mother.
"He asked me if God created humans and if he loves them why does he take them away."
"What'd you tell him?"
"God works in mysterious ways." I snorted.
"I questioned that before as well." I looked at him as he was starting at the sky. I patted his back and he looked to me.
"Daphne, what will you do with your hands?"
"What do you mean?"
"Will you hide them or use them?" I sighed and looked down. When I first found out about my true heritage...I didn't believe it at first until I was asked to cure Sam's broken wrist. I surprised myself and my brothers because his wrist became good as new. Then when Cass began explaining to me about my hands he said it surprised him that only my hands were the only thing that were half angel. I wasn't full of grace like him, but it did circle around in my veins from my hands. After that I didn't use my hands unless it was necessary. Like John, I denied Michael as my father. Cass found me bracelets that helped control/hide my grace from going crazy and other angels finding us. I felt like I was in handcuffs but I did it for my family. I was lucky enough that Ace wasn't born with any angel grace.
"I kinda left the bracelets in my house-" I heard a whoosh and Cass was gone. I sighed when I heard the sounds of wings fluttering again. Cass stood there holding out his hand with two thin golden cuff bracelets.
"Thanks Cass, but, mind holding onto them for now? Angels aren't really hunting us down so I don't think I'll need it. And I have it under control." He nodded and placed it in his trench coat pocket. "Also, do you mind checking in on Bobby and the others?" He nodded and we looked around to see if anyone was near before he disappeared. Sam and Dean came over and Daryl came along not too long after.
"There are gods out there?"
"Pegan, Mythological, pretty much a lot of it." Dean said.
"There are so many things out there, I don't think we've seen it all and trust us, we've seen a lot." I nodded.
"How long yall be hunting these things?"
"Practically our whole lives." I said.
"You guys don't get paid or anythin'?"
"It's not exactly a career choice." I chuckled.
"But we save a lot of people, that's what counts, right?" I nodded.
"So like a family business?" I sighed.
"It's a bit difficult to explain our 'family business'." I said.
"Any other questions?" Dean asked as if he was in a class. I rolled my eyes.
"How else do you kill somethin' without silver? Like Weverwolves." I looked away at the mention of them. I guess Sam noticed and tried to carry the conversation.
"Um- well, an angel blade, like Cass or Daph's, or decapitation, like a vampire." Daryl nodded and then he left saying he was going to go out to look again. We nodded and he left. Ace came back and asked where Cass was.
"He uh-"
"I'm right here." Cass appeared behind him with a smile. He looked at me and nodded. I sighed in relief.
"Let me show you what I learned!" He said pulling Cass away.
"Where'd he go?"
"I asked him to check in on Bobby and the others. They're okay." I saw relief in my older brothers face.

We all gathered around Hershel's porch. Rick was supposed to let us know to go out to look but he hasn't came back from talking to Hershel. T-dog and Andrea came back from watch duty from the barn and Daryl and Carol came back asking what was going on. Then Shane came and I felt something was going to go wrong.
