I ran inside the bedroom to see Maggie and Lori. "What happened?"

"She's in shock." Lori said.

"Hershel's gone." I furrowed my brows. I looked at my brothers and I motioned them to follow Lori.

"May I?" Maggie nodded. I placed a hand on Beths forehead and closed my eyes. After a few seconds I opened my eyes and took my hand off her. She should be fine. Nothing extreme.

"Go with my brothers and explain the situation, I'll take care of your sister,"

"Thank you." I nodded and she left the room. I sat down in the chair besides the bed and I looked at my hands, my right hand was shaking. I held it with my left hand took deep breaths.

"I failed another one..."I muttered closing my eyes.

"Daph?" I heard a soft voiced. I looked up to see Castiel standing in the door way.

"Cass?" He walked over and stood next to me.

"Ace is with Sam right now." I nodded and we sat in silence until he spoke up again. "You have many emotions, sadness, grief, anger,"

"I promised that child's mother I would find her and bring her alive if it mean to give my life up...look what happened. I should've called you to help- I should've stayed with her. Maybe the roles would've been different. I would be in the dirt instead of her..." I said feeling tears in my eyes.

"She won't have to be in this place anymore."

"I know but-"

"You have many people that care for you, your brothers, Bobby, your son, me, and that group out there." I looked at him and he used his thumb to wipe my tears away. I tried to smile.

"Thanks Cass."

"Of course, not a problem." I took out my lighter and pocket knife. I turned it over and began carving a letter in the back of the lighter.

M.W (Mary), J.W (John), R.W (Ryden), I.W (Isabella), E.H (Ellen), J.H (Jo), P.B (Pamela), A (Ash), G (Gabriel), J (Jim), and finally S (Sophia).

"Why do many letters?" Cass asked.

"The initials of the people I've known that died." It was filled with so many names...I want it to stop. I closed the knife and put both objects away.

"Daph?" We looked at the door to see Dean.

"I'm heading out with Rick and Glenn to bring Hershel back." I nodded.

"Be safe, please." I asked. He nodded and left. Maggie, Patricia, Jimmy, and Andrea came to take care of her so me and Cass decided to leave them.

We went to the Impala that surprised me that Dean didn't take, and I laid in the back seat. "Would you like me to read to you?"

"Sure Cass," I said looking at the ceiling of the car as Cass began reading the Bible out loud and correcting some of the text he read saying that what actually happen was blah blah.

I was shook awake and saw Sam with a worried face. "Lori's missing." I sat up straight.

"What happened?"

"We think she must've gone into town after them." I shook my head.

"What was that woman thinking?! She's pregnant for Christ sake! No offense Cass."

"She's what?" Sam asked looking shocked. I saw Carl walking up to us with tears in his eyes. I got out the car and walked to him.

"Carl, it's going to be okay." he didn't say anything so I took him to the Impala and let him sit inside the car. Ace sat next to him and they kept each other's company in silence.

"You guys wanna draw?" They shook their heads.

"Read?" Again. I sighed just sat in the front seat with Sam and Cass in silence.

"You guys said you were hunters, does that mean you parents were too?"

"Uh- yeah, kinda."

"Did your parents leave a lot?"

"Most of the times. We're kinda used to it, they always come back. Just like your parents and our brother." I told him.

Almost an hour later we saw headlights entering the farm.

"Carl." He looked up and saw the headlights and quickly opened the door and ran out. Cass stayed with Ace and we ran behind him.

"You're having a baby?" Everyone was shocked by the news. "Why didn't you tell me?" Carl asked his mother who only stuttered in response.

"Come, let's make sure you're all right." Dale said. Andrea went with her as they all entered the house. Me and Sam went back to the Impala as we awaited for our older brothers arrival.
