Will

The ring of my annoying alarm wakes me up. My hand wanders to the coffee table on my side and I switch it off.  I groan to see that it's 1 AM.

Why did I set up my alarm to go off at this hour?

A wet haired Finn comes out of his room, buttoning up his shirt. "Get your ass off the sofa, we need to go on that stakeout."

Oh, that's why.

"Right," I look at the room Remi's sleeping in. "We should be quiet, I don't want to wake her."

Finn laughs. "She's your damn queen, innit?"

"Maybe she is." I make a face at him and walk to the bathroom.

Fifteen minutes later, we are in the neighborhood of the wealthy, hiding in the car, eating popcorn.

"Seriously Finn, I told you to get some real food to eat... Not popcorn. We're not watching a bloody movie." I glare at him and I shove a handful of popcorn in my mouth.

Finn rolls his eyes at me. "Whatever, mate."

Remi

I yawn as I get out of bed. I don't have my usual equipment I use for the job, so I take a backpack next to the bed which probably belonged to Will. I'm sure he won't mind if I borrow some more stuff. I fish for a black shirt in the room's closet.

I finally get my hand on a black hoodie which I swiftly throw on. It reaches just below my knees so I don't bother wearing pants again. I also put on Will's pair of white sneakers which is twice the size as my feet. I tie my hair into a messy bun, I don't have any comb to do anything fancy, I can't even do the heavy makeup I usually do to disguise myself.

I model the outfit in front of a full length mirror. I look weird, but who cares...

I glance at the clock to see that it's exactly 3 AM. I hang the empty backpack on my shoulder and quietly leave the room, I don't want to wake Will and Finn.

I arrive at the rich neighborhood in approximately twenty minutes. I stay in the shadows for a while, deciding which house to rob. I target a shining white mansion which I've already broken into about a month ago. I hack into the security system, disable the security cameras, the usual.

Blending into the darkness, I enter the house quiet as a mouse. I know my way around the house, so it doesn't take me long to find the safe. I easily crack the code,  grab a good sum of money and I leave.

I'm shoving the money into the backpack behind a tree when the light of a torch in front of me blinds me. The torch drops in front of me, the light facing the person who just found me. My eyes follow it.

Shit, shit, shit.

Will

My hands tremble in fright to see Remi Hood hiding behind the shadow of the tree, wearing my hoodie and shoes with my backpack.

My backpack, which I just saw her shoving money into. Finn and I had decided to split up to search the neighborhood because it was getting boring in the car. I saw movement near a tree, that's when I saw her.

The torch I had dropped from shock, faces me, shining at my face. Remi stares at me as if she's seen a ghost.

No... No... It can't be. What's happening?

A tear slips out of my eye, the betrayal of Remi breaking my heart into pieces. The pain, so strong as if someone stabbed me right in the heart, a bullet through my heart.
