Remi
Will looks at me with a tremendous amount of endearment, it's unbearable but I stare deep into his watery blue eyes, drowning in them.
Wha- He loves me?
"You do?" I practically whisper my question.
"Yes, Remi. I love you, I love you, I love you." He repeats himself with a bright smile.
Oh my gosh...
"But... After everything I did... Aren't you gonna arrest me?" I ask, genuinely confused.
"I'm not gonna arrest you, Remi," Will chuckles as if everything was fine. "I can't lose you Remi, I can't bear seeing you in jail either, that's why I'm gonna help you."
"Help me?"
"Yes. I know I can't promise to fix all your problems, but I can promise that you won't have to face them alone." He tells me fondly.
"Your job... You can't lose your job because of me! You love your job. You can't just throw away your future like that!" I say loudly to bring some sense into him.
"You still don't understand, do you?" Will sighs and holds both my hand. "I love you more than my job. There is no future for me without you, Remi."
Woah.
"You're really good with your words, Will Louis." I loosen myself a little, I stroke a finger around the bruise on his nose, he seems to have forgotten to put on the bandage. "But I'm serious Will, I don't want you to lose everything for me. I don't want you to regret anything."
"You. Are. My. Everything." He states firmly.
I try to start. "But-"
He interrupts me by placing a finger on my lips to silence me. "Sure, you made bad decisions when you were a kid, you did what you thought was right by making the deal, you had no choice, I understand that. This is still hard for me to take it all in but you did with good intentions... Yes, you shouldn't have lied to me and Finn, but you did what you had to do to survive."
He sighs. "I have no regrets, Remi. You aren't forcing me. I want to help you."
I nod my head which satisfies him. He pulls me into his arms once again, I wrap my hands around him as well, hugging him. The rain stops completely as the sun starts to rise, as it should.
After a few minutes, I force myself to pull away. "We should go back. I don't want to get caught by anyone..."
"Right," Will holds my hand, his fingers fitting perfectly between mine, promising me that I'm not alone. "I wonder what happened to Finn. He was staking out with me..." He mutters.
Finn...
"You can't tell Finn about anything." I tell Will.
"Why not? I tell him everything... He's like a brother to me. I think you're like a sister to him now, too." he explains.
"He might go to the police... I don't think he'll risk everything for me, unlike you," I slightly grin at him. "I just don't think he should know right now... We can tell him some other day, please?" I try to plead with my eyes.
"Okay, okay, fine... Did you have to use those puppy dog eyes?" Will tries to glare at me but the twitching in his lips gives him away.
We reach the hotel room, no sign of Finn, thankfully. Will scratches his head in worry. "I'm going to call Finn, don't worry, I won't tell him."
I disappear into Will's room to take a shower. I sit in the bathtub, lost in thought, the water from the shower reminding me of the rain.
What just happened?
