I'll Be Your Eyes

Doflamingo's Pov

"Has anyone seen (Y/n)?" I was looking my little girlfriend but so far, I didn't have any luck locating her. "Try the roof Young Master. She was up there eating her lunch a while ago" Hm, (Y/n) knew I didn't like when she went up there. "Thank you~ Fufufu" Making my way throughout the mansion I soon pushed the door to the roof open and made my way outside.

"There you are my love. I've been looking for you all day" Her head perked up at my voice but she didn't make an attempt to face me. "(Y/n) you know I don't like when you're up here alone. I don't want my future Queen falling off of the roof if it gets too windy. Come on let's go back inside" When she didn't get up from her chair, I raised an eyebrow as I walked closer to her. That's when I could hear the light sobbing and see the tears that strained her cheeks. "Oh, why are you crying my love?"

"Someone told me I-I should j-just jump off the roof since the world doesn't n-need a blind girl!" My anger was on full display but (Y/n) couldn't see it, my girlfriend was blind though that small detail didn't matter to me. She was perfect the way she was after all, I'd never change a thing about her. "It's alright~ Their just jealous of you my love, they might not need you but I do~" The girl was still sniffling so I wrapped her in my large arms as I brought her back inside of the castle. "A-Are you sure that I'm not just a burden to you Doffy?" My answer was the same as it always was.

"Nope~ Like I said before (Y/n) I'll be your eyes as long as you stay by my side" As I made my way towards our bedroom, I could see Diamanté had been walking towards me with a small box in his hand. Could that be the item I requested for my sweet little (Y/n)? "Afternoon Doffy... Little Miss... Here's the item you requested Sir it took a while but we finally managed to locate it" Diamanté turned to leave but before he could I wrote something in string for him to do for me.

'Find out who told my (Y/n) to jump off the roof then kill them'

(Y/n) was a kind soul so I tried to keep the more cruel and murderous activities a secret from her. It wouldn't be good if she found out I wasn't the man she fell in love with, I needed her just as much as she needed me. "What's in this box Doffy?" Her small hands had been feeling around the box trying to figure out what may be inside of it. "It's a present for you (Y/n)~" I waved goodbye to Diamanté before I made my way into the bedroom and kicked the door shut. "A present?"

"Open it up and guess what it is" Sitting the girl on our bed I placed the box in front of her before she popped it open as her hands made contact with the fruit that was inside. "It feels like a fruit... you got me a devil fruit?" She sounded a little disappointed but I knew this fruit would help her out a lot when I wasn't around. "It's the bat-bat devil fruit (Y/n), it allows the user to transform into a bat and have the abilities they possess as well. I thought it would be useful so you don't bump into objects when I'm not home plus it will be cute watching you fly around the room. If you don't want it, I can take it back but-"

Before I could finish my sentence, the girl had already taken a big bite out of the fruit and based on the look, she had it didn't taste very good. I remember that taste well and nothing could ever describe how gross a devil fruit was. "Yuck! How did you eat one of these Doffy, it tastes like death!?"

"Hm... It did taste horrible but it was only one bite so I managed. How do you feel (Y/n)?" Once she had swallowed the piece of fruit it took her a minute to respond but when she did, I could help but laugh. "Now I can race you around the castle!"

"Fufufu. Alright but first you need to practice controlling your devil fruit then you can use it outside of the castle. I love you (Y/n) and I'll still be your eyes when you need me"
