Doflamingo x Fairy!Reader {I Do Believe}

Doflamingo's Pov

"Captain, look what we managed to catch! It's one of those flying creatures from the books you like to read!" I was enjoying a glass of wine in my cabin when a crew member decided to brag in. Normal I would be annoyed but this time I was curious about what they had caught. "Hm... What books would you be referring to?"

"Come see for yourself Captain" Pouring the remaining wine down my throat I began following my crew member until I seen a large crowd gathered around something on deck. "Make way for the Captain!" The crowd separated as I walked closer to the small creatures that was curled up on the deck. "Is she a devil fruit user?" It definitely resembled a creature from my books but I wasn't completely convinced it was real.

"We don't think so Captain. She can swim though her wings appear to be broken" Scooping up the little winged creatures in my hands I took in the damage before I turned and left the deck. "Don't cry, it's alright~ Are you really one of them?" I could see the poor thing was frightened but she had just had surrounded by a bunch of pirates so it was understandable. "O-One of who?"

"A fairy" She looked at me for a minute before a quiet reply spilled from her lips. "Is that what the Humans are calling us now? I'm a Fay it's a type of fairy, my name is (Y/n) who are you giant?" The fairy might have been small but I somehow managed to hear her.

"I'm Doflamingo and this is my ship. What happened to your wings my little Fay?" Entering my bedroom, I closed the door and locked it before I placed the little Fay down as I waited for a reply. Though when she didn't answer me, I figured it was a sensitive topic for her. "Are you hungry (Y/n) I can have some food prepared for you?"

"Do you have any strawberries?" So, the girl liked fruit? That was good to know, she would be easy to keep fed then. "Sure, just wait here and I'll go get you one"

A Few Months Later...

"Mingo, why are you bringing me with you? You usually leave me on the ship during these meetings" While what the girl said what true I just didn't feel like leaving her behind today. Plus, Mihawk and Crocodile were going to be so jealous over my little Fay. "I'm in the mood to show you off today" (Y/n) was sitting on my shoulder with an arm looped through my earring to keep herself from falling. "Oh, okay"

A Few Hours Later...

The meeting was going well even though only three warlords including myself were present. (Y/n)'s presence was welcomed and I could have sworn Mihawk was staring at her from time to time. "Kishishishi. Hm, why are so many warlords here? Ah, Doflamingo you bastard I would have thought you'd stay on your island... what's that thing on your shoulder?"

"This is (Y/n) and she's a type of fairy. Fufufu. Why do you ask Moria?" I expected the man to take his seat like the others but he decided to open his ugly mouth instead. "Tis' there's no such thing as fairies" My eyes widened as (Y/n) fell from my shoulder into my lap. Though her whole body was slowly fading to grey as she tried to stand back up though when she only fell again, I started to panic. "(Y/n)!? What did you do Moria!?"

I tried to warm the girl's cold skin but it was pointless, she was going to die and there was nothing I could do to stop it. "Don't go (Y/n) I love you so much... I believe in you, come on stay with me" There were tears dripping down my face but I didn't care, all that mattered to me right now was (Y/n). "I'm going to kill you!!" My rage was clearly seen as I set my sights on Moria but the son of a bitch had already escaped. "Oh, my little Fay~ I'll make him pay for this, mark my words I will kill that overgrown onion one day"

Her body was lifeless as my lips pressed to her head. I never should have brought you here, you would have been safe on the ship. "I'm so-" Before I could get another word in (Y/n)'s body started to glow. I thought she would fade away but instead she began to grow until she was the size of a regular human. She didn't have any clothes to protect her from the wandering eyes in the room so I laid my coat over her.

Then by some miracle the color started to return to her skin before the girl started breathing again. I didn't know what happened though that wasn't my top priority right now, I needed to go. "None of you are allowed to speak of this incident! Is that clear!?" (Y/n) wasn't awake yet but I made sure to keep her hidden as I made my way back to the marine ship that brought me here. "I'm so glad you're alive (Y/n)... though it's interesting that your full size now. Fufufufu. It will be much easier to shower you with my love now~"

Two Years Later...

"Doflamingo you bastard! Who put you up to this!?" It may have been a long wait but I finally had Moria right where I wanted him. "You almost took (Y/n) always from me and I made a promise to kill you. Fufufufu. Goodbye Moria~"

"Welcome home Young Master! How was the war, you put on quite the show from what we could tell?" Every member of the family was waiting in front of the castle to greet me... well everyone minus my wife. "Where did my little wife disappear to?"

"She's taking a nap in your office Doffy. I believe Baby 5 is watching her" I briefly nodded my head before I entered the castle and headed up stairs. Since the war took up a lot of my time, I had been away from my wife for three weeks now but I'm still she'll be thrilled I was home. Entering my office my eyes locked on the girl sleeping peacefully on my couch as Baby 5 quickly left the room. "(Y/n) wake up~"

"Go away Mingo... your being annoying" As she tried to hide underneath the covers, I couldn't help but chuckle at her childish antics. "Hm... It's time to get up!" Pulling her blanket off her I watched as her eyes immediately popped open. "Give that back! It's freezing in here"

"Awe, do you need me to keep you warm? My little Fay your so cute when you pout like that~" Before I could grab her thought she changed her sized and slid off the couch. "Wait (Y/n) where are you going!? I just got back and you're not even going to give me a kiss!?"

She completely ignored me as she crawled underneath my office door and disappeared into our shared bedroom. The only thing I could do was follow behind her and hope she'd at least cuddle with me. Opening the office door, I walked into our bedroom as I took in now human sized girl who was curled up in our bed. "(Y/n) can I join you?"

"Fine... but you better not try anything Doflamingo" I was too exhausted from my travels to put the moves on the girl right now, maybe tomorrow but not today. There'd be plenty of time to make up for the three weeks I didn't get any but for now I would sleep.

"Alright, can I have a kiss before you go back to sleep?" She turned around before my lips slammed into hers but she pulled away within a few seconds. "Really (Y/n)? I have been gone for three weeks and that's the greeting I get from my darling wife?"

"Suck it up Mingo, you left me alone for three weeks and didn't even call me once. Go to sleep before I kick you out" It wasn't my fault I couldn't call (Y/n), the Marines were breathing down my neck and I was plotting how to kill Moria. "I was busy (Y/n)... Fine, I'll go to sleep but remember (Y/n) I love you with all my heart"

"I love you to Mingo. Don't ever leave me alone for that long again, I missed you"

"Awe, I know and you don't need to worry, the Marines will be rebuilding for many months so I'm all yours~ Goodnight my little Fay, I'll always believe in you~"
