A teenage girl sat on her bed looking at the latest homework assignment her teacher had assigned that day, it wasn't that difficult but (Y/n) really didn't want to do it right now. No, not when she needed to watch the latest One Piece episode. Deciding on doing the reasonable thing she threw the assignment on the floor and popped her laptop open, then went to the site she had bookmarked before hitting play.

She had left off at the episode where Foxy appeared and challenged Straw-hat so she wasn't to far into the anime but she only liked to watch the dubbed episodes since reading the subtitles took away from watching the show. Though she did read her share of fanfic's and some of the later manga's so she learned quite a bit about what would happen later on.

Certain characters definitely had her heart even though they weren't real, but that didn't stop her from reading all the fanfic's she could find. If the world of One Piece was real, she'd go there in an instant. (Y/n) had a secret no one knew about, if anyone did, they just wouldn't understand like those in One Piece would. There it wouldn't matter as she could pass it off as a devil fruit power she'd just never go into the water or just eat a devil fruit.

The episode had finished and (Y/n) stood up taking another look at the homework sheet she discarded "Ah, I'll do it later" (Y/n) had other plans, she had found this cool waterfall in the forest behind her house. Although it was quite the hike to get there it was breathtaking and worth the almost hour it would take her to get there. Having been stressed out with school lately she really needed a break from it all. "(Y/n), where are you going dear?" The plan was halted when her Mother walked out of the kitchen having heard the girl stomping like an elephant down the stairs. "I'm going for a walk"

 "Alright but don't forget your coat and wait here I'll pack you something encase you get hungry. You'll be out there for hours if I know you"

The girl's Mother had gone into the kitchen but returned quickly with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, some trial mix and even a water bottle. "I have the best Mom in the world!" 

"Have fun but don't stay out too long. Love you Honey" (Y/n) turned one time time as she shot her Mother a warm smile. "Love to you Mom!" Without any other delays (Y/n) had started her journey into the forest.

About halfway through the trip (Y/n) decided she would stop to rest and eat some of her trail mix with a few sips of water. Taking the time to relax she enjoyed the chirping of the birds and rustling of the leaves "It's so nice here" A few more minutes passed before (Y/n) got back up to continue on, if she stayed in one place to long it'd be dark before she even made it to the falls.

This waterfall she was going to see was a mystery she discovered it two weeks ago but as far as she could tell it wasn't on any map, it's almost like it just appeared one day. When she happened upon it, it was by chance since the path she normally took was being blocked by a fallen tree. Never being the other way before she marked her way with some pink flagging tape, she brought with her. So, finding the spot now was easy she just followed the marked path.

Arriving at her destination her ears are greeted by the sound of the falls. "Made it!" Setting her items down on the ground she walked over to observe the falls at a better angle. (Y/n) still couldn't believe she had been missing out on this place if she had known sooner, she'd probably be here everyday regardless of how long it took her to get there.
