SEVENTEEN

The past month Hailey had spent in Charleston had been nothing but bliss. She had built long lasting friendships with all of the other cast members and gotten closer to Rudy as well in the process. The downside? With that friendship came her feelings for him. She had long promised herself that she wouldn't act on these feelings nor mention them to the boy at all unless she has reason to, and so far she had absolutely none.

Hailey was currently walking down the Charleston streets, making her way to Madelyn and Madison's apartment. The latter had invited her for a girls day since they had nothing to film today and the Australian girl gladly took her up on the offer. She was a little worried though that she'd bump into Elaine again, she hadn't mentioned it to anyone but being around her made her really uncomfortable.

Upon reaching the apartment and being let in, she envolved in hugs and dragged over to the sofa where the residing girls had set up netflix and a few take out boxes. After watching a few episodes of New Girl, the trio were casually lounging around the living room listening to Madelyn talk about how nice and cute Chase is.

     "Honestly Mads," Hailey started, "If you find him attractive and you like him then just tell him. Save yourself the going round in circles."
"Is that what you're doing with Rudy?" Madison interrupts.
"Rudy? What are you on about?"
"It's painfully obvious you both still have feelings for each other."
"Really strong ones too. You're both just too oblivious and stuck in your heads to notice it."

     Hailey rolled her eyes at her friends behaviors, she knew they were right for some part of it because she did still love Rudy but she could tell he didn't.
"Look even if I still felt something for him, I'm pretty sure he's with Elaine."
"So you do like him!" Madison yelled as she jumped up from her spot on the floor cushions.
"Did you not hear what I just said?"
"I don't know, Hailey. The way he looks at you-" Madelyn cut herself off, raising her eyebrows at the Australian girl across from her.
"How does he look at me?"
"Like he's in love with you, you idiot."

     Haileys head was spinning. She wasn't sure what to think anymore, she had promised herself a while back that she wouldn't bring her feelings for Rudy again. Everything she was being told right now was begging her to change her mind though so she quickly begged the girls to change the subject, moving on to talking about their show.

But for the rest of night, Haileys mind was on one beautiful blonde boy.
