hey! i'm outside the airport, where are you?
i've just gotten through baggage claim and walking out right now.

it's not a ruffle! it's a carefully crafted messy tousle
it's a ruffle and i seem to have spotted it!
To anyone else, it would've looked like a crazy brunette scurrying along the sidewalk with her messy bun and her comfy looking clothes and the glasses that were sure to fall off her nose at any second. To anyone else, he would've looked like the biggest bundle of nerves you'd think he was about to spontaneously propose.
But to that crazy looking brunette and to that nervous looking bundle, it was one of the happiest moments of their lives. As soon as she hung up the call, he had spotted her and had flashed her, what she thought, was an award winning smile. She wouldn't admit it but it made her heart beat that little much faster.
The moment she reached him, her bags were forgotten as she threw herself into his waiting arms. Rudy didn't think a person could feel so many emotions all at once, for the moment his arms wrapped around her waist and lifted her that little bit off the ground he felt everything he's held in for the past two years. All the regret of letting her go so easily, all the happiness of finally having her back in his life and all the love he still held towards her.
"I know I only saw you like three weeks ago," she mumbled into the crook of his neck, "but I missed you Ru." She pulled back in the slightest, not daring to pull her arms from around him, only enough so she could see his face. Flashing him a pearly smile that he could only describe as show stopping, he couldn't help the blush that started to creep up his neck. She missed him. It almost sounded strange to him, almost foreign, having not heard her say that in years. However, in a second, he had pulled himself together and replied softly. "I missed you too Hails."
