"What the fuck's going on between you two?" Alex asks, sipping on a beer as they sat on his balcony. They had roamed around LA that day, taking pictures and going to different bakeries to try what they had. Avery had joined them back at his apartment that night, seeing as the three of them almost hadn't had any time together since christmas.
"To be honest, i'm not really sure." Hailey sighs, sipping on her wine. "There are times when i'm with him where it's just so serene, you know? Like how it is right now almost, but then other times there's so much tension that a knife would break if you tried to cut it."
"You can easily get rid of sexual tension if you wanted." Avery snorted from next to her, catching a glare from her friend. "What? I'm just saying, both of you need to stop being such babies about it."
"Nope, Avery, no. We're not doing this again."
"I'm not telling you to do anything! But just, give him a sign that you're still interested. Lord knows that boy is fucking stupid."
