Hailey let out a loud laugh at something Avery said as they walked down the sidewalk, making their way back to their parked car. Blaze was walking a few steps ahead of them gently pulling on the leash in Haileys hand when suddenly he lunges forward, dragging the brunette along with him. Avery couldn't help but laugh at the struggling brunette as she tried to tug her dog to a stop and when she did she cane face to chest with someone.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking-" the girls sentence came to an abrupt stop when she saw who was in front of her, Blaze gently nudging his head against the mans legs. "Rudy, hi."
"Hey Hailey." he laughed as he bent down to pet the energetic dog. "I see he's still as energetic as ever."
"Yeah you know Blaze."
"Um you look, uh, you look great. It's been a while."
"Yeah, uh, you don't look bad yourself."Even though they were standing in the middle of a crowded LA sidewalk, the silence surrounding the pair was deafening. That is until a certain blonde came chuckling down the sidewalk.
"Oh my god, Hails you should've seen your face!" she wiped the tears from her eyes and finally focused on the situation in front of her.
"Hey Alaska! Funny seeing you here." she spoke as she wrapped her arm around her best friend.
"Yeah I guess Blaze recognised him." she shrugged, her gaze not leaving the man in front of her.
"Yeah I actually got a place here, finally."
"Woah, good for you Alaska!"The trio conversed for a short while, speaking about how cool it was that Rudy had finally moved and properly gotten into acting. A certain brunette was feeling quite uncomfortable though throughout the exchange, she couldn't help but think about the times the two shared back in Alaska. She quickly shook those thoughts though when the tall blonde directed his next words at her.
"I'll text you later? Maybe we can catch up."
"Yeah, sure, I'd love that." she smiled and the pair quickly bid their farewells to the boy and went their separate ways."Okay what the fuck was that?" Avery questioned, referring to the previous exchange.
"What?"
"You totally froze back there!"
"It was just weird seeing him again Aves."
"Yeah because you're used to seeing him naked."
"Avery!" she scolded, her cheeks going a new shade of red as her friend laughed. "Not funny!"
"Oh my god! You still feel something for him, don't you?" Hailey only groaned at the question and gently picked up Blaze and placed him in the back seat of her car. "I knew it! I'm always right.""Look Avery, even if i did, it's all over now. I'm pretty sure he has a girlfriend now too, so my feelings don't matter anymore."
"But you're still gonna call him right?"
