Ketchikan, Alaska
Hailey laughed loudly as Rudy struggled to walk
up the small hill, holding a picnic basket in one hand and clutching the brunettes hand tightly in his other.
"You know, you wouldn't be laughing if you were the one carrying this basket!" he yelled back at her, only making her laugh harder.
"Hey i offered to carry it! You insisted on being a gentleman." she grunted as he pulled on her arm, bringing her to the top.
The blonde boy had suggested the pair take a trip down to Ward Lake after he found out the girls had a fascination for photography and to get to know each other better. The hill they were currently standing on overlooked the large lake and the beautiful mountains behind it.
"You certainly don't get views like this down in Australia." Hailey spoke lowly as she admired the gorgeous landscapes surrounding her.
The two had spent the majority of their day swimming around in the lake and playing stupid games like 21 questions to get to know each other better. They were currently sat atop the blanket Rudy had brought along for their picnic eating sandwiches.
"So why Alaska?" he asked with a mouthful of food.
"It just seemed like the perfect place to disconnect, i mean look around us right now."
"It can get boring though but then again i've lived here for 20 years."
Conversation always seemed to flow easily when the two were together, and that was a large number of times ever since she bumped into him at the club that night. Hailey picked up her film camera and got up, walking around the small area around them to take a few pictures. Rudy admired how passionate and artistic she was, she had shown him her collection of pictures and paintings and he instantly fell in love with the way she did things. Satisfied with the pictures she'd taken, she picked up a small flower on her way back to the blanket. Sitting down, she leaned over and placed the yellow flower in his hair and quickly took a picture of him.
"Beautiful."
