HISTORY☆RUDY PANKOW

THIRTEEN

The pair had spent the entire day prior to Haileys arrival in the small flat she had rented for the indefinite amount of time she was staying in Charleston. They had successfully packed, ordered a large amount of takeout for lunch and were currently halfway through Corpse Bride when Rudys phone rang. Hailey paused the movie as he got up to take his call and she began to clear up some of the takeout boxes and placing them in the bag they came in. She had managed to clear the whole table of their mess when he walked back in.

"How would you feel about going out tonight?" he asked hesistantly, "I mean, I don't know if you'd want to, but the cast is going out for a few drinks later. I thought it might be nice for you to get to know them. I get it if you're tired though or-"
The female couldn't help but let out a chuckle at his flustered behavior and his hasty hand movements.
"Rudy." she gently interrupted, getting up from the couch and grasping his hands in hers to calm him down. "I came all the way to Charleston to spend more time with you, of course i'd love to meet your friends. Who else is gonna gang up on you with me?"

       A few hours later, Rudy had returned to the girls rented apartment to pick her up after going back to his own to get dressed. He couldn't help but stare at her for a few minutes when he first saw her step out of her complex but quickly regained his composure as she got into his car. They were meeting the rest of his friends in a local pub they had found in their first couple months of being in Charleston.

       "They're gonna love you." he softly shook her shoulders when he noticed her hesitation. "You're Hailey fucking Chase, calm down." She gave him a small smile as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and lead her inside. The pair were instantly greeted by the sight and noise of the group they were meeting, a chorus of the blonde boys name coming from all of them and she couldn't help but laugh as a really pretty brunette came rushing towards her.
"I thought he was fucking with us when he said you were coming!" she exclaimed as she approached, followed by an equally beautiful blonde.

       Hailey let out another laugh as Rudy let go of her and wrapped his arm around another brunette who Hailey could've sworn was giving her a stink eye. Quickly turning back to the two girls now stood in front of her and introducing herself to them, however Hailey was quickly assured that they all knew who she was already because of how much Rudy spoke about her. She couldn't help the little flutter it sent through her heart that he still spoke about her often but quickly chastised herself for still harboring those feelings.

       A couple hours later, all the introductions had been made and drinks had been served as the group shared funny stories about each other and previous experiences. Hailey had quickly grown fond towards Madison and Madelyn, whom she later learned their names after their introductions. She had also grown a slight bitterness to the brunette shamelessly curling up to Rudys side whom she later learned was Elaine.
Hailey was currently making her way back to their table from the bar with drinks for her and the aforementioned blonde boy when she bumped into someone's chest.

       "I'm getting a serious sense of deja vu right now." Rudy chuckled as he looked down at the slightly shorter brunette, taking his drink from her.
"Yeah except I didn't spill my drink this time and I'm not gonna end up in your bed tonight."
