"Can you please tell us why you did it, Miss Shoya?" The rat says calmly. I'm in Principle Nezu's office.

"I don't know." I say. "I'm tired and in a bad mood, I guess." To be honest, I actually have no idea why I did it. It was like I was possessed or something because my body moved on it's own.

"That's still not a good reason why you should burn your text books in a trashcan... In a classroom at that."

I look away with my arms crossed. I make sure my hair still covers my missing eye. "Todoroki had it covered anyway. It's not like the school woulda burned down."

"Yes but-"

"Tch. You know what? I'm done here." I stand up and start heading towards the doorway. "I'm wasting my time talking to a rat like you."

Nezu follows my movements with his eye. "Shoya. Please take your seat."

"Have a nice day, rat." I leave him behind, only to crash into a chest. I make a oof sound and stumble back a bit.

"I don't think the principle was done talking with you... Natsumi Shoya." I recognize the low voice and I look up to see my teacher, Shota Aizawa. I roll my eye.

"Well I was done with him. Besides, it's not like it was that dangerous." I reply. "I was just having some fun."

He sighs. "Sho... Remember that night? The night you lost that eye of yours?"

I look away and stuff my hands in my pockets. "Yeah... What about it?"

"Do you remember everyone that was there?" He continues to prod me with questions about a memory I'd rather leave behind me.

"Yeah... All Might, Hawks, you, and then the villains. Oh and the annoying news reporters." I reply.

"Don't you think you owe us a little respect for saving your life?"

I sigh. "You could've done a better job. Maybe I would respect you if you saved my eye as well or didn't throw me withthe foster care system. Why couldn't you have taken care of me, huh?" My voice raises. "You were her best friend, right? Couldn't you have-"

"Sho! I couldn't take care of you because I knew I wasn't ready. And you look so much like her so I knew I couldn't see you day after day, especially when that happened to her. I'm sorry I had to put you through that but I had no other choice. You're mother and I were close, yes, but I wasn't able to support you back then. Get to class."

"But-"

"I said... Get to class." I interrupts me before I can argue. I glare at him.

"Fine. But you should know you're the reason why I'm like this. You're responsible for my death if I decide to try and fly, got it?" With that, I stomp past him.

I think I hear footsteps around the corner but I don't see anybody when I turn it. I kick the wall a couple times before I reach the classroom. I take a deep breath to retrieve my cool and walk in. All heads turn towards me. I look beside me at the trashcan covered in ice and smirk. "Look guys. I made artwork." I laugh and walk to my seat. Every pair of eyes follow me except one... The one pair of eyes I yearn to be looked at by.

"Thanks. For putting the fire out." I tell Todoroki. He shrugs and turns to me.

"It was a pretty big fire, considering you only burned trash and textbooks." The boy replies.

I chuckle. "It was, wasn't it? Pretty awesome. Although, I don't know why I did that." A weird feeling rushed through me and I look away and begin twiddling my fingers. I feel a bit... Embarrassed. There's a pit in my stomach and a lump in my throat. Ugh... Please not now...
