I open my eyes slightly, my headache still there slightly. I'm under cozy blankets and laying on what seems like my bed. I sit up, looking around. I'm back in my apartment room. The door is closed but when I see a glass of water on the nightstand, I realize how dry my thoat is.
I take it and gulp down the cool liquid. The water soothes my raspy throat and I sigh when I finish the last of it. I wipe my mouth before sliding out of the bed. But when I stand up, pain shoots through my legs and up my back. I suck in a sharp breath, sitting back down. I hunch over, resting for a moment.
I yawn and my eye becomes watery. I reach up to rub it, but then my fingers graze against some sort of cloth. I frown, touching my face. That's when I realize that half of my head and face is wrapped up in a bandage. I feel along it until I get to where I believe is the end of the bandage and begin removing it.
I unwrap it until it falls to the ground and for the first time since I can remember... I have a complete 180° vision.
I touch the area around my eye, feeling my scars that are evidence of someone scratching at my face until they were able to remove my eye.
Then I hear the door handle begin to wiggle. I stare at it before it opens, revealing my son walking in, still holding the handle. "Momma-"
"Tora. Let your mother rest." I hear Todoroki's voice and I immediately remember the events that took place before I passed out.
"Shoto?" I call.
Tora looks back as footsteps come near my room. Then, the man comes in, meeting my gaze with wide eyes. "Natsumi... You're awake." He says. He looks at the eye that used to be missing. "How're you feeling?"
I shrug. "I can't walk."
He comes towards me and kneels in front of me, looking at my legs. He takes them in his hands gently and starts pressing on them and moving up. "Do you feel that?"
I wince. "Yeah. It hurts."
He nods and puts my leg back down. "Ren said this might happen. You've strained your muscles by using to much power too early. It runs in your vains, you see. They'll heal eventually." He then gets up and goes to my closet. "We got this for you." When he turns around, he's holding a folded up wheelchair.
I deadpan. "Absolutely not."
He pauses before coming over. "It's either this or you can stay in bed all day."
"I am not using that."

"This is so stupid." I mutter, putting my head in my hand.
"It's just temporary." Shoto replies from behind me as he pushes me out of my room. Tora is following beside him, holding on to his father's shirt.
Todoroki wearing a white T-shirt along with a blue flannel and some black jeans.
"I still don't like it. I can just walk." I argue.
"You can go ahead and try." He replies coldly. He pushes me into the living room and to the dining room. When he leaves me in front of the table, I look at him.
"What're you doing?" I ask.
"Getting you food. You haven't eaten in five days." He replies, opening the fridge.
I look down. "Okay- wait what?" I frown at him, confused.
"Your body had to regain energy after suddenly withholding all that power at once. Your body shut itself down and went into something similar to hibernation." He starts to prepare what looks like ramen.
