Chapter 4 - Didn't you hear Aizawa?

"Sumiiiiii~"

"Mmmph." I feel a nudge.

"Sumiiiii~ Time to get up, hon."

I bury my face in the pillow. "Mph." I grunt.

"Sumi! Now!" The blankets are yanked off of me.

"Nnnngh." I curl up as an attempt to conserve warmth... It doesn't really work though.

"It's your first day at UA. Rise and shine." She tosses my uniform on my face.

"Mph." I slowly sit up and drag off the uniform from my face. "U... A....?" My eyes shoot open. "Shit! What time is it?"

"It's only 7:28. Get ready." Kyoko says and leaves my room. I sigh and get up. I stretch and look at the kitten.

"Welp. Gotta go. Kyoko will probably feed you." I slide into my bathroom and get changed. I look in the mirror and study myself. My silky hair is beautiful and the uniform fits my body perfectly. "Geez. You're gonna get hit on." I make sure my empty eye socket is covered and leave the bathroom.

I pat down my skirt and grab my backpack. I rush down the stairs and out the door. "Be careful Sumi!"

"Will do, Kyoko! Bye!"

"I'll be home late!" I hear her call. I run along the street and turn some corners. Then I'm pushed to the ground by a chest. I hold my nose. "Ow."

"Oh. Are you okay?" I hear a familiar voice ask.

I look up and meet two mismatched eyes. I blush. "Oh. H-hey Todoroki." I stand up and brush myself off. "Uh yeah. I'm fine. I just wasn't watching where I was going. Sorry."

Todoroki looks me up and down. "So this is what you meant."

"Hm? Oh yeah. Tada." I show him my UA uniform. "I'm your classmate." I flash a wink at him.

A small smile twitches at his mouth. "You wanna go?"

"Yeah let's go." We walk side by side towards the school.

I feel him glance at me a couple of times. I meet his gaze. "What?"

"It's just... You don't feel strange anymore."

I frown at the ground. "Well... I feel like... I forgot something. But... I forgot it."

He nods his head. "Hm. Well now you seem more... Here."

I scoff. "I feel more here. Anyways, the cat is doing good. You can come see him after school if you want."

He shrugs. "Maybe." We continue in comfortable silence. Soon, the school comes into view. My mouth gapes open a bit.

"I had no idea it was so big." I murmur.

Todoroki smiles softly. "What kind of environment do you live in?" We walk though the front gates and walk towards the enormous front doors.

"A simple environment. My foster mom is good to me. I just wish I had a family. I don't even know if my father is alive." We walk through the halls and to our class.

"Hm... Your a foster?"

I nod. "My mom died in a car crash 6 years ago. I went into the system and here I am."

We open the door of the classroom to reveal a class of different varieties of people. Energetic, chill, perverted, perfect, innocent, and hot headed. It kinda makes me wanna laugh.

Then eyes turn to look at me one by one. I stand there stiffly. "Uh... Hi?"

"Hello! Who are you? Are you lost?" A boy with blue hair comes up to me. He has glasses and moves his arm in a robotic motion.

"Uhm... No. I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to be here." I say in a sarcastic voice.

"Why didn't I see you here yesterday, beautiful?" A boy with yellow hair and a flirty smirk on his face butts in. He's obviously checking me out.

"I ran into some problems." I reply.

"What's your name?" A girl with round cheeks and innocent eyes asks me.

"Natsumi Shoya."

"Cute name. I'm Ochaco Ururaka."

"Nice to meet you."

"I'm Eijiro Kirishima." A strikingly cute red haired guy says.

"Alright everyone. Take your seats." A bored voice behind us says. I spin around to see a man wearing a scarf and a tired face. He looks down at me. "Your Shoya, right?" I nod. "Welcome to UA. You got in by recommendation, correct?" I nod once more. "Take a seat."

I shuffle in between the desks and Todoroki follows. I take a seat in the back of the class and Todoroki sits in the desk beside me. I look up at the teacher as class starts.

"Good morning everyone. As you already know, I'm Mr. Aizawa. We have a new classmate today. Her name is Natsumi Shoya and she is way stronger than any of you, so try not to piss her off."

A couple of my classmates glance back at me and whisper to each other. I sink furthur into my seat.

"Anyways. Put on your PE uniforms and meet me outside in ten minutes." With that, he leaves and I'm left with my classmates.

I stay in my seat while people sneak glances at me. Ochaco walks up to me. "What did he mean by stronger than us? What's your quirk?"

"Uh... Uhm..."

"Tch. STAY OUTTA MY WAY YOU EXTRA! I'M GONNA BE THE NUMBER ONE HERO!" An ash blonde dude pushes his way through and stands in front of my new desk. His crimson red eyes glare into my very soul.

I roll my eyes. "Whatever. Stay outta my way and you won't get hurt." I smirk at him.

His eye twitches. "THE HELL YOU SAY TO ME!?!" He holds up a hand from which explosions come from.

My smirk only widens at that. I slowly stand up and my gaze flashes at him with a sharpness to it. "Didn't you hear Aizawa? Careful not to piss me off." Those cold words changed the aura in the room. It even gets the hedgehog to shut up.

Then he gets irritated. "You bitch. You think you're stronger than me?"

I move my face closer to his. "I know I'm stronger than you." I stare into his crimson eyes and my gaze sends shivers down his spine. Then I hold up my own hand and I make an illusion of my hand making explosions.

"Tch. Is that supposed to scare me?"

"No." I make another illusion of my face turning into his.

He stumbles back a bit. "The fuck?" Then my illusion turns me into a ghost. (Apparently he's afraid of ghosts. Look it up.) His eyes grows wide.

"You scared now, you petty little boy?" He's the only one seeing the illusions. I'm making sure that everyone else just sees him cowering from me.

I release my illusion and the guy stands up. "Tch. Whatever." He grabs his uniform and leaves to go change.

"Wow. That was strange. What did you do?" Ururaka asks.

I shrug. "He's just a fucking wimp. That's all." I grab my PE uniform and leave as well, everyone staring after me.
