Chapter 5 - Never Even Experienced It

We all gather in the training field to listen to Aizawa's instructions. I stand on the edge of the crowd to avoid questions and all that time consuming shit. I look up at Aizawa as he gives instructions, but I feel a gaze on me. I risk glancing around and see Icyhot staring at me. I give him an eyebrow wiggle and that makes him smile slightly.

He looks away and I return my attention to Aizawa. "Today we will be doing some battles. First person to restrain their opponent wins." He says and begins listing name after name. Then he gets to me. "Shoya and Bakugo." My soul leaves my body.

Why hiiiiiim?

Then an obnoxious voice is heard. "WHY THE FUCK DO I HAVE TO BE WITH THAT PIECE OF SHIT!?!"

Aizawa sighs. "I have my reasons Bakugo. Calm down."

I see Bakugo glare at nothing in particular and that makes me smirk slightly. I've never been known to show much emotion unless if it's supposed to be threatening.

I begin to sneak my way through the crowd until I reach him. "H-"

"SHUT IT LOSER! LET'S JUST FIGHT ALREADY!" He yells aggressively.

I sigh. "Okay. I'll go easy on you."

"WHO DO YOU THINK I AM!?! DEKU!?! I'LL BEAT YOUR FUCKING ASS!" He walks a couple yards away from me and waits for the okay to start.

I roll my eyes and put my hands on my hips. Then Aizawa gives the sign and he instantly blasts towards me. He raises his arm in a motion of a right hook. I step to the left to dodge and grab his arm. I twist it and throw him to the ground. He grunts as his back comes in contacts with a rock and I hear a crack. Aizawa must've heard it too because he comes over to inspect.

"Shoya. Seriously?"

I shrug. "He had it coming. And I didn't feel like wasting my energy on a hot headed hedgehog today."

Aizawa sighs. "Go get Recovery Girl."

I turn and put my hands in my pockets as I walk towards the school.

"He has a minor spine injury. The impact shattered it in a small area but it's not serious." Recovery Girl reports. She then turns to me. "You must've been very precise of where you were aiming him. I'm impressed. But try not to injure anyone else."

I bow an apology. "Sorry. I'll try not to. Thankyou."

Rocovery Girl smiles sweetly at me. "You're a strong girl. It's a wonder why you have been through the things you've been through."

I smile slightly. "Thankyou." With that I walk out of the office and through the halls. There I'm met with a bored looking Todoroki. I walk up to him. "Hey. Whatcha doin?" His face brightens a bit.

"Just waiting for you." He replies.

"Oh? Why is that?" I raise an eyebrow at him and we start walking.

"You said I could come over to see the cat."

"Oh yeah. That's right." I twiddle my thumbs and we continue walking through the halls of the huge school.

"Hey Shoya."

I look at him. "You can call me Sumi. What's up?"

"Okay Sumi. Why don't you use your quirk that much?"

I snort. "Why don't you?"

"I used my quirk against Izuku today."

"True. Well... I guess I never really wanna use it if there's no need."
